The only generation I hated was 4. I felt as if the pokemon were lacking. Not lame, just lacking variety because I felt that at this point they were just throwing pokemon everywhere. there were definitely some I liked though. Aside from just the pokemon, the story even felt lacking compared to the others, and for a Pokemon game, that's really saying something. Maybe the only other game that had less of a story was Gen 1, but since the entire concept was new at the time, that was forgiven.
