Negative opinions on MX-5's come from people who don't know what it is to actually "drive" a car. They don't think about the experience of driving as anything other than an ego boost, or a way to transport themselves. There is a lot more to life, such as driving a fucking MX-5, or likewise excellent "driver's" car and absorbing every smell, sound and sensation that you can from it, because it will gladly give them to you if you are not blind. /rant
