The shape reminds me of the golden "German" roaches. They curl up and die like roaches too, so I bet roach killing stuff is fine to use on them.

Combat is the BEST stuff! I used the bait trays in Okinawa, and we NEVER had live bugs after that! I bet the gel is great stuff!

Be REALLY careful when using Borax or especially DE if anyone in your home is asthmatic or otherwise breathing impaired! That stuff can cause miserable bronchitis!

Make sure to clean up REALLY well, they like to eat grease most of all. If you rent, you might want to let the landlord know, in some places the landlord or owner has a pest control company and will spray at no charge. If it is apartments, they could be coming from neighbors, and it's best if all units are treated at the same time. A PITA, but very effective.

I LOVE this one. So many of us with that "script" running in our heads, I wish we COULD take care of it this way! Even if the script isn't constant, it IS there, and WILL attack at the worst time.

So is this jury nullification? Did they say that they didn't think the kid was guilty of the crime, or that the law itself was not the right one for the case? Deadlocking a jury isn't the same as nullification.

I wish they HAD used jury nullification in Florida where the woman fired a warning shot to prevent her husband from kicking her ass. She got TWENTY YEARS because of their draconian gun use law. I woulda put that law on trial so fast....

Harder to prove WHO was online WHEN. Because the ID numbers change and are reused. Proof is on THEM to say they know EXACTLY who was online there.

Plus there are people who have devices that automatically connect when they are in range, so the hot spot is connecting thousands of people in any day!

Pretty close to nil, depending on the movie. I keep my uTorrent running all the time, and we've NEVER (knock on wood!) gotten any notices from anywhere. I do Demonoid and Pirate Bay, some of the nyud.njet things, and hubby used rapid share and other things like that.

Having uTorrent running all the time, I guess TWC doesn't see a difference in our traffic over time, so they just figure we're heavy data users? (well, we ARE! LOL!)

As long as you don't try to get things that are in the news as being bad to pirate, like that old action star movie, and the Dummies books, it should be fine. The stuff we take is so obscure, no one seems to mind!

100.3 the Sound for classic rock and roll. Ranges from biker to hippy to stoner. GREAT mix of songs!

They promise to never play a song twice in the same day. They play a LOT of more obscure songs, songs I hadn't heard EVER, or in many many years.

You'd think at my age that I'd heard every Beatles song, but I was pleasantly surprised by "Everyone's Got Something to Hide Except for Me and My Monkey"! I caught it in the middle, and it sounded so fresh and recent, I was STUNNED when the DJ (a REAL, HUMAN DJ!) named the band!

They do Two for Tuesday, Thursday Threesomes, the One at 1, and have a fairly good countdown. The live DJs are good ones, known in the music scene for knowing their rockenroll. They have commercial breaks a little off from other channels, so I don't have to turn the radio off entirely!

My presets are KLOS (M&B Listener #27, hard to give up my boys) 100.3, 93.1 for the 80's, KROQ, 98.7, and a preset for my phone through the radio thingie.

I wish we had a station like KOMP in Vegas, heavy metal and harder rock FTW!

We were also doing funny stuff today, driving up to the ATM, He started in. Using a female sounding voice: "Please insert card. Oooh, yeah, that feels nice! Wow, what a big deposit you have for me! Oooh!" I was busting up, and thinking we need to make a video of that!

He DOES get me back at times, He is a MASTER at pun-ishment! He can make me groan in the bedroom OR the kitchen!

Exactly so! Even with lens stabilization, my ultra zoomed hand held pix mostly came out ugly, although I have gotten a few neat shots. Nothing like this, as I don't have a 150mm anymore.

I'll try these setting for my next night landscape/moon pix!

At this booth, the people were dipping roses into the dry ice, which made the petals slightly less wilty and droopy, and then stroking it across our skin. Oooooh! It was firm, yet soft, cold but not brittle (it was a quick dip!) and the faint scent of roses. One woman said she liked to dip various things in the dry ice, and of course the vapor itself sets quite a mood!

It's like that Dr Pepper 10 (or whatever it is) commercial, where the "guys" are in a jeep, talking about how action movies are for men, and this drink is for men, so ladies, don't buy any, blah blah blah. Of course, in family households, WOMEN are the ones buying the soda. And, well, gee, you TOLD us not to buy any. Marketing FAIL!

There is so much sexism in commercials right now. Some overt, like the one above. Then there's the State Farm commercial, where "dad" walks in with the baby, and says, "Oh, great, mommy spent your insurance money on a karaoke game", and the ladies all, no, I got renters' insurance for like "Four bucks a month..." Then the Agent comes on and say, yes, that's right she did! Then she says "State Farm is there... with.... an apology!" And the husband say, "It doesn't work like that", and the AGENT AGREES! What, she doesn't get an apology from her husband? Fuck that insurance company!

I've noticed several others too, they make me angry! I write them on my FB, share them with friends, but besides "voting with my $$", I need to WRITE TO THE COMPANIES THAT DO THIS to complain about their misogyny. And let THEM know I will be taking my business elsewhere, and encouraging my many woman friends to do the same!

Yep, easy as pie. Take a small stuffie, maybe even a Beanie Baby, like the ones McD's gave away ever so long ago.

Make a "bag" of cloth to fit the USB stick. Cut a "mouth" on the toy. The hardest part is putting them right sides together to stitch (by hand), or you might be able to glue the bag into/onto the mouth.

You could add a "tongue" or other bit of cloth to hide the stick, or maybe even a dot of velcro to shut it.

I wore a pair of Bass flip flop style sandals in leather for well over a decade, only stopped when my feet got bigger.

I wonder about the SAS sandals, I just got a pair of their shoes, and WOW! Most comfortable shoes EVAR! No pain even after standing for several hours on stage, no leg pain, foot pain, hip pain, back pain. The shoes (and the sandals) are over $100, but I think they are well worth the cost in dollars, as they cost me less in pain!

I also have a pair of those sandals that velcro over the top of the toes, I've had them for several years as well. I got them when I sprained my foot, as I could adjust the size with the swelling. They're nice slip on and go types for warm weather, and no toe piece to bust off.

With flip flops available for less than $5 at Walgreens, I wouldn't thing BIFL is an issue.... They wear out more or less quickly depending on how you wear them, how often, how you walk, sit, stand, do you drive in them, walk on sand or street, scuff them, etc...

Maybe they should try incremental increases in parking rates for long term parking? $1 for first hour, $2 for the 2nd, etc. There ARE people who would be willing to pay for parking. An 8 hour day (if you don't leave for lunch) would cost you $46 - $55 - Just like San Francisco!

And what about people using handicapped placards? Once time runs out, NO OTHER PLACE IN LA will ticket a car displaying a correct current placard.

The news was just saying there were "too many" ADA lawsuits in Cal, SM just guaranteed themselves a few. Some of us aren't fast, yet still have to take whatever spot is available, do our business, and get back to the car, and it may take us well over an hour due to medical conditions. If they start ticketing placarded cars at metered spaces, they will be violating all kinds of county and state ordinances!

And how is it going to help with customers? "Oh, I'm in the middle of spending a bunch of money, but I have to leave now because my meter is running out. If I can't find a space, well, I won't be back. I guess I'll buy the clothes online now that I've tried them on and stuff. Good luck with your recession!"

Not too much of an issue at 3rd St Promenade, the parking structures there haven't been too full last I was there... several years ago.... There are other automotive reasons I avoid SM, unless I'm going to the Civic Center, with its own lot...

The moon can be a challenge! Even with IS on my old G9, the "shutter" is so slow that I usually get a bright ball of wtf. Sigh.

I had just gotten the adapter to attach my Minolta SRT101 to my telescope, but then my old roommate's boyfriend stole the camera :-( I've replaced most of it....

These events ARE fun! We went to one that was held along with "Bizarre Bazaar", a sales day. They had sensual play (using dry ice, oooo), violet wand (used along with a suction glass, wow!), and skin popping, which I found fascinating.

It does remind me of warts, or molluscum of some sort. The $1000 price tag to have it removed sounds like a bargain.

I definitely second going to the canine dermatologist for a few more tests and second, 3rd or 4th opinion.

Whatever you do will cause that side to look weird, whether you leave the patch alone or have it removed. Removal is best of all, since you won't have to worry about it growing and spreading, and you can enjoy all of his beauty!

Oh.... yes! I'm a bit of a SAM (Smart Assed Masochist), and we've laughed so hard together that I've made Him go into asthma attacks!

The latest one, we had not played together for a few weeks between my Shark Week and His work being busy. I came home from rehearsal, and we were hugging and kissing. I kinda sat on His knee, and He said He could feel the heat from me. Then He starts yelling, "It burns!!! It BURRRNNNSS!!" and we both started laughing so hard!!!

One time He was putting clothes pins on my to then whip off with the crop. He put one on my tongue, and I felt so GOOD! I started singing (with the clothes pin on me) "I theel pweggy, O tho pweggy..."

We always like to laugh and joke around, in and out of bed. The meaning of liff, you know!
