That's exactly the issue. What I'm looking for is a few reviews or a book that go through general knowledge of evolution (clades, divergence of the clades and major events for which we have evidence for [either fossil or molecular]). The other crucial part for the project is recent molecular markers that back up some of the major evolutionary theories and if possible the impact of epigenetics on our current evolutionary models.
