C++ and Java has more support and more opensource code than C# (source). Deciding between those two depends who you want to work for I guess. Java is pretty fast in a set of general tasks, about halfway between C++ and C# according to "The Computer Language Benchmarks Game".

Most of my engineering classmates (myself included) felt like Moofies before starting the first semester. A friend was the second best student in her big HS and now she's hardly passing with a lot of studying.
