you sir, have my upvote and support! i have family and friends in law enforcement, and i personally am greatful for the work you do. i use to have that sort of mentality as a younger person, but the more i thought about it, the more i realized... if 'I' dont fuck up, then the 'asshole cops' cant do anything to me... then that became, if 'I' dont fuck up, it make the JOB and DUTY of police officers easier, and if i DO fuck up... its not going to help and will probably just make things worse if i take my anger out on the cop who CAUGHT me doing something wrong, instead of just taking responsibility for my own actions. i have even adopted the habbit (though i dont have to use it much) of shaking the hand of every cop that pulls me over and THANKING them for doing what they do.
