TROPHY CASE

Who would you prefer we buy Eden Hazard or Hulk. by drex18in chelseafc

Hazard, if there's only one. Hazard can play left or right wing, or centrally. Hulk is most comfortable on the right wing, where we have Ramires. Big hole on the left side.

Marin will unlikely be good enough to routinely be in our starting eleven. Hazard, on the other hand, is showing signs of being one of the best wingers/attacking players of the current generation.

Javi Martinez -- Should we be interested? by scg30in chelseafc

CB/CDM aren't exactly areas of importance right now. Need to focus on higher need areas, such as left wing and right back.

Still waiting for official word on our departures...

Vancouver's Jun Marques Davidson gets touched on his cheek by Toronto's Julian de Guzman and dives like a little bitch. One of the silliest flops I've ever seen! by UnderweAreain soccer

If MLS has set a precedent for dives from first time offenders and they deviate from that punishment for that Vancouver player, they will have a tough time arguing their case.

Yeah. At some level it's just incredibly bad luck that we have the record that we have. But by no means are we a bad team and I expect us to have a very strong CCL campaign.

Attractive football is great, but winning football is best. Although I wouldn't use either term to describe how you played in either of the Finals against Barca.

I have a Facebook friend who goes by Cool Hand Chris. Did an internship with him last year, just had to check.

Hulk is primarily right sided and I don't think Marin is the winger we're looking for in our starting XI. Hazard and as nomalas said, a right back are required. Maybe another midfielder too.

He looks like a good lad but he's not ready for the role we need him to play just yet.

Wings and AMF are probably our best positions. Plata/Lambe/Soolsma/Johnson are four solid wingers. Avila is looking pretty crafty and pacey at AMF and can really drive the play forward. Silva is a hot young prospect and I've liked the way he's looked when we've called upon him. Koef is looking like he's getting his form back and Johnson showed he can deputize at CF.

Nobody has come close to matching the level of play or leadership Frings has shown in midfield. Goose has turned his performances up of late, Dunfield is okay coming off the bench. Burgos, Cordon and Stinson look like they have some promise to them as well.

Even the defense is coming together. Cann, Henry, Morgan and Eckersley are a pretty good back four and should only improve with time. Maund had a good debut, I thought Emory and Hall have done a good job coming off the bench this season and am looking forward to Williams' return. Would not be sad to see Harden/Aceval leave though.

So in short I like the way Winter has transformed our team. He needs more time. In truth I don't know why I went over the team like this but I'll be very disappointed to see Winter leave anytime soon.

It's disappointing that this is a talking point still. We have 0 points in the league, it's a mathematical impossibility for a team to be worse than us. Koef said nothing about the skill level of the individuals, which is where the differences of opinion could lie. I think the media helped twist Koef's words and really created the conflict that brewed in the club.

But we do have a lot of talent in the individual positions, although our crossing and finishing could use some work. But we just need to continue to forge an understanding and continue to work for each other like we did in the Canadian Championship.

I feel like Frings could make a huge difference. That and our d is showing glimpses of playing better.
