I think "typical" is your best bet here. I wouldn't be surprised if someone got offended if you said homosexuality is atypical, but then again I'm not surprised if someone's offended by anything.

The problem is you're trying to place idealism (a human construct) into nature. Nature just... does... and is.

Typically, unprotected sex doesn't lead to impregnation in humans (hovers around 25% chance). Doesn't mean impregnation is unnatural.

There was a Canadian-produced kids TV show called "Telefrançais". I watched it in freshman-year French in 2001 in California.

Anyways, one of the main characters is a puppet pineapple (ananas in French).

In the first episode, the pineapple says to the human children, "Allô! Je suis un ananas!" <Hello! I am a pineapple!>

One of the children says, "Mais les ananas ne parlent pas! C'est pas possible!" <But pineapples don't talk! It ain't possible!>

So for many Americans and Canadians "I am a pineapple" is one of the few things they know how to say in French.

Personally, I think licenses should be renewed annually for all drivers, fuck it. I'm a good driver, I don't care. If you're sweating it, good: I don't want you on the road with me. One of my friends lives in Arizona; his license is valid until 2062. That's an absurd amount of time to develop bad habits.
