Actually, I think that was a perfectly fine idea. I can think of plenty of occasions where laptops have begun playing sounds before the user can have a chance to use the mute button. You may not always have headphones, so having a headphone jack on your keys could be pretty helpful at times.

Second, your 'counter-argument' is nonsensical. My 'logic' is not absolute logic. It is a theory as to how the game gained its name, i.e. someone though 'hey, we play this game with a ball on foot, let's call it football'.

The etymology of every single word is different, there are no rules regarding this, ergo your argument is balls.

Well, I speak as a layman here, given that I've never actually watched football aside from films and TV, but...

For one thing, tactically it's very interesting. Each attack has its own strategy and methodology behind it. It's almost like military attack strategies.

The actual sport is exciting, there's constant action. Unlike football (soccer) which can often have long stretches of the ball being passed up down the middle of the field which can frankly be very boring.

The physicality and variance of physicality. Different positions need different physiques and attributes.
