AWW YISS!

A short comic about sexual identity and fluidity "Queer" by Rmetalbroadin lgbt

[–]Rmetalbroad[S] 9 points10 points ago

Are our sexualities determined by the people we can fall in love with or by those we find sexually attractive?

I consider myself a queer, my sexuality is determined by none other than me. I've been married before (to a man) and I have found the person I want to spend the rest of my life with. She happens to be a lesbian. Our partners do not determine our sexual identity.

Serious question that may not sound serious: Why are some lesbians butch? by JFoggersin actuallesbians

[–]Rmetalbroad 2 points3 points ago

So we dress in clothing which is traditionally male. Not because we want to look male, but because we want to look suave/dapper/slick/dashing/independent/etc.

Just wanted to say that I agree and add that some mens clothing are damn comfy, more comfy than womens clothing. I went through this phase when I was a teenager when I wore mens jeans all the time.

I have never considered it as "dressing like a man."

I dress like me. I'm comfortable in t-shirts and jeans. If I could pull off the short hair, I totally would, but alas, I cannot because my hair is so thick that sometimes I fear that it will come alive and strangle passerby and when it's short it's just really ugly.

If you, or anyone else, thinks I look masculine because I'm dressing a certain way, it's on you, not me.

Those who have facial hair stuck to their faces are most likely dressing in drag. You know, like drag kings? I know drag queens are more prevalent in today's culture but drag kings do exist as well. Even if they aren't drag kings, some women have facial hair. Have you not heard of Frida Kahlo?

A somewhat charming option on OkCupid. If this somehow existed in real life, would you try it for a day? by strobairitzin actuallesbians

I thought this already existed and even logged in to my ancient okcupid profile to look. It does exist, but only for IMs.

Good for you for keeping your chin up and getting your shit together. I know it may suck but fill out that fafsa and apply for financial aid. Kudos to your grandparents and the girlfriend and her parents for stepping up and helping you.

You're parents will come around sometime, but even if they don't you already have a great network of support available. Awesome.

Edit: am I the only one who thinks the Millenium Park Bean looks kind of like a vibrator? A fancy vibrator?

Isn't it obnoxious when people sign up for swaps and gift exchanges and never follow through? by pollydownerin actuallesbians

YES! Very obnoxious. Also rude how whenever someone brings it up, they get downvoted to oblivion.
