Eh, I dont think he was dangerous. Looked like he had taken a beating with a baseball bat- his eye was swollen shut, and his face was dark purple. He'd only wanted some change but I figured whatever and gave him my fries. Guy seemed genuinely happy that I was willing to just chat with him like a human being... Although I was a bit freaked out by his admission. I figure people like that NEED to be treated like human or they will emulate that which people view them as. I doubt our encounter changed his life or anything though.

Ive tried tp distance myself from this conflict on reddit, and this is pretty much why. People argue back and forth as to who is the bad guy, but the truth is BOTH are the "bad guy". Its just a huge cluster fuck of death and destruction perpetrated by both sides- and the true victims are the innocent bastards caught in between.

Honestly its not that I hate conservatism- I try not to knee jerk hate on Harper; but when you hear shit like this, or how they've been muzzling scientists you start to wonder if they have our best interests at heart. Are you saying that the party in power has the right to do WHATEVER they want regardless of truth or rationality? That "right" is in the eye of the beholder, and that all decisions are equal? If so... Well thats just kind of all sorts of fucked up because it means those who are not conservatives have no voice while they're in power, and vice-versa when another party is in power.

Now Im young- I havent been following politics for more than a few years, perhaps Im just inexperienced but as I see it the system is kind of shitty when you look at it objectively.
