Reddit what absolutely fills you with rage no matter how much of a good mood you are in? by megarustyin AskReddit

Everyone with an unpopular opinion suddenly likes to see reddit as a monolithic entity,

And those people gather on /r/circlejerk where they whine about how whiny reddit is.

Yeah, because gender equality hasn't improved since before the suffragette movement, huh.

I could easily unsubscribe from /r/atheism, but I'd rather just bitch about its existence in /r/circlejerk. by nerfdudein metacirclejerk

"Atheists are so whiny. All they do is whine. For some reason us whining about /r/atheism every single day is not the same as them whining on their own subreddit."

TIL Reddit has a feature where if you dont log in, your front page gets flooded with whiny atheist posts. by brenwolfin circlejerk

I try to force my non-beliefs down their throats.

By posting about atheism on an atheism forum.

Sarah Silverman and Michelle Williams naked by thecookinin nsfw

The fact that it's perfectly normal to leer over celebrities like this blows my fucking mind.

I wonder if actors know what they're in for when they go naked on film.

You know what? I don't pay attention to them and the only time I'm even aware of their existence is when people go on and on and on about how terrible and deluded they are.

I don't care. I don't give a shit about them at all.

[–]Phallic 3 points4 points ago

Basically what you said above is "either you're with Occupy, or you're with the greedy corporate assholes"

There's a difference between being "with Occupy" and having a problem with their viewpoints.

I by no means consider myself "with Occupy", but I certainly acknowledge the validity of their primary complaints; Namely, that our current corporate-government system leads to all sorts of unethical behaviour that goes completely unchecked because it's perpetrated by members of powerful institutions.

What objectionable viewpoints characterise the Occupy movement, then?

I strongly oppose the viewpoints that the Occupy movement holds

How bizarre. Does that mean you support cheating, corruption, nepotism, insider-trading and a whole other range of unethical business practices used to cheat the system to enrich a very small group or amoral sociopaths?

Because that's what a lot of the Occupy viewpoints are. Now, I can understand you opposing the way in which their viewpoints have been expressed, but I can't for the life of me understand why you'd oppose their viewpoints themselves (unless you're a billionaire with no empathy at all).

I find with so many things like this it's easy just to glance at it, not comprehend the appeal, and then move on to something else.

I've found it to be really beneficial to say "OK, this is popular. Why? What keeps people watching this?

It has led to me enjoying a far greater range of sports, NASCAR included. There's a lot to appreciate if you actually try to appreciate it.
