Yeah tonic immobility occurs when sharks are rolled upside down so that wouldn't surprise me. I'm sure the Orcas learned pretty quickly by flipping the sharks over they were immobilised and easily killed.

Unfortunately I didn't record anything, so I'm unsure if there's anything out there on video or not :( They mainly just continued to chant 'allah o'ackbar' and 'burn in hell'.

Yeah very true mate, it was pretty full on when you got up close. They were pretty angry. I was waiting for some violence to spring forth and was surprised it didn't to be honest.

I'm not 100% sure mate, I was only second author on this paper as it just used some of my data and I only wrote a small part of the discussion, so my supervisor was the main author and he went through getting it published. It only took a few months though, wasn't bad at all. Just came back with minor revisions and that was it I believe.

The males are the largest of the sexes and out compete all smaller individuals (males and females included) but females don't get much bigger than 4kg, with males getting up to 5-7kg in the wild and 12kg at the tips! So they just outcompete all other smaller individuals
