Nooby question, but what is the difference between the two hard drives? With all the financial wiggle room, could I replace the second one with another TB drive?

Also, what should I be looking for with regards to fans? I've read reviews of the Phantom which say that extra cooling is a must, and I'd like to buy smart.

I talked to my DM about it, he said something along the lines of the second option. However for balance and/or flavor he suggested that the persona switches could be at random based on a dice roll made at the start of my turn. Thoughts?
