How do you get over a relationship ending? I know we have no conrtol over other people, but that doesn't mean relationships ending doesn't hurt like fucking hell. I love my partner and certainly don't want it to end. If it did, I'd be crushed.

Yes and no. Actually, I seem utterly unsatisfied either way, except that I haven't actually TRIED polyamory yet. So I'm only unsatisfied in theory. I'm scared, but I want to try it.

I'm not sure I understand what you mean. With my current relationship, we took a very long time to get to know one another before I gave him anything very deep. It was a give and take and we fell in love slowly. But I've never just delved into something head first. THAT scares me. And that's what this feels like. I have one guy in mind that I'd like to get to know better, but I'm not even sure about him. And I've just been so lonely lately, that I catch myself doubting that anything is going to change that.
