I don't think it counts as indie, but me and my friends have been playing World of Tanks recently. But, if you want to go really indie then I suggest A New Zero, it's still in beta but it's hella fun and a super small download.

I see absolutely no references to "fractal drawing style" on any web pages that come up in a Google search. The closest thing is I found was Fractal Art, which again, this obviously isn't. I'm pretty sure these are just mislabeled.

These aren't fractals because they aren't self-similar.

I know it can be confusing, but just think to yourself this: Is there a piece of this picture I can take and zoom in on that would result in a picture the same as this one? If the answer is 'no' then it definitely isn't a fractal.

If you're at all interested in learning about actual fractals and complexity theory I suggest checking out the book Complexity: A Guided Tour by Melanie Mitchell. If you're interested in where they appear in real life, then consider reading African Fractals: Modern Computing and Indigenous Design by Ron Eglash.

edit: Some of the confusion may come from these shapes having a fractional Hausdorff Dimension because of the fuzzy lines, which is a property most fractals have, but doesn't make it a fractal.
