I agree with you, although I think it's maybe the best I have seen. I like how he opened everything. I do the same, there's no sense leaving it in the box, I don't plan on selling my stuff and I get to enjoy it.

It was at the drive-in...at the beginning of A New Hope when the Star Destroyer flew overhead...and then when Darth Vader walked out of the smoke...the first few minutes of the movie launched my 30-something-years of being a Star Wars fan.

Dude, keep it going, it's awesome. I can only imagine how much time it took to get where you are, but I enjoyed it. I cracked a smile when the cop pulled out after Maul and then turned into a transformer. That was unexpected.

I seen it the first time at a drive-in. We were in the back of a pick-up truck, laying on blankets and eating popcorn. I knew nothing of the movie (beforehand) and can still remember the opening music (I was five-years-old at the time) echoing around the lot.

To this day, each time I watch one of the movies, I can leave reality and become one with the dark side. It's a wonderful thing since I'm almost 40. Not many movies can do that for me.

It's a wonderful and fascinating story. During Philosophy last semester, I was able to understand some of the philosophies of Plato (allegory of the cave), etc.

One question the class was presented with was if a brain was in a vat, hooked to wires telling it what reality was, would it know the difference and the A I got on the paper was as a result of using The Matrix as an example.

Step out of the cave, my friend, the sequels do exist ;)

I consider myself a true Star Wars fan and enjoy all the movies. I don't care about Lucas or Jar Jar or any of that. Sure, I've made fun of Jar Jar, but the character really isn't an issue.

What is an issue is the pure bliss I get from watching all the movies. A couple of times a year I watch them all in a row...those along with The Matrix movies and The Lord of the Rings.

I would put something addressing it on the sidebar. Everyone is tired of it and if some can't play nice, they can go. I'm not against being a hard ass with this and I'll be the first to post a topic about it. Jax and I discussed this some time ago; once the reddit gained popularity, we'd have issues like this.

The reddit won't take a hit if the bashers leave and it'll make more room for quality conversation. I'm sick of seeing negative crap and I'll start sending people out the door if that's what we need to do.

Mainly though, putting something in the sidebar seems to me like the best approach.

I'm going tonight, but my wife doesn't know she's going yet. Our anniversary is coming up soon, so I figured this would be a good way to celebrate it. Selfish? Maybe. Regret? None.

She was informed the other day that she's buying me a chainsaw as her gift to me. I'm not a total dickweed, though, I'll take her to dinner and and some other stuff on that day. But tonight it's Star Wars in three mother f'in D!
