like 3 minutes before Hawkeye suggests that Tony go around tight corners because the guys can't "bank worth a damn", one of them actually hits a building for this reason; Hawkeye noticed it, just like the audience could have, and told Tony. Whedon did an excellent job with stuff like this, as OP pointed out.

This happens all the time to me, and they genuinely think I'm too stupid to just add $0.25 to the amount of change they would have gotten. But that's actual addition/subtraction. Counting to 200 by 20's though...
