What happens when you import modafinil into Australia by mtgcs2000in Nootropics

[–]Moustachiod_T-Rex 0 points1 point ago

I'm an Australian who is soon considering buying modafinil! Thank you for posting this. Part of the reason it might have been ignored is the fake prescription in the letter, I don't know that any other modafinil selling sites also include a prescription, and if not, what the odds are of those parcels being seized if inspected.

Disappointingly indeed. I much preferred that plot point to be open-ended.

These days we have unprecedented access to some of the world's most powerful people, and people just want to spam them with stupid messages. I remember a couple of weeks ago someone posted tcook's email address because an App was having its support for a few phone models taken away and the poster thought it a good idea to encourage people to send tcook emails about this stupid little app. And that comment had dozens of upvotes! What is wrong with you people. If you want to maintain this level of access, then you're going about it in a terrible way.

If you're ejaculating more than a few of tsp, there's simply no other area for the liquid to originate than the bladder. Smaller amounts are hypothesised to be secretions from only the Skene's gland. By the sounds of it, OP released a lot of liquid.

Semen can be gross, but it can also be cleaned off fairly easily. The scenario OP describes involves large amounts of female ejaculate soaking the sheets and therefore presumably also into the mattress. That can't just be wiped off, and if it is in the mattress it's pretty damn hard to remove. That's why children who wet the bed often tend to get waterproof fitted sheets, especially if they have expensive mattresses.

If OP didn't have any clue that she would squirt so much then that should be forgiven much more easily than the alternative scenario. However, as someone else pointed out, it's possible that the boyfriend is angry because he doesn't understand female ejaculation and believes that she had total control and did it intentionally. His reaction would certainly be consistent with that.

Sex isn't something a man does to a woman.

My post is only suggesting that if a woman suspects she might gush litres of urine-based liquid while in the middle of a sex-act, that she might prepare by setting down a towel, or god forbid, warning the person whose bed she is on before commencing. It's a basic politeness.

See this is what I mean when I say /r/sex is always, unerringly and blindly, sex-positive. It's great to be sex-positive, but it's not an all-or-nothing game. I don't think it's reasonable to downvote someone who is suggesting that if a woman suspects she might gush litres of urine-based liquid while in the middle of a sex-act, that she might prepare by setting down a towel, or god forbid, warning the person whose bed she is on.

We're not just talking about 'throwing some sheets into the wash' anyway, by the sounds of it it got into the mattress. Not cool.

You're trying to argue that for almost all women, every orgasm is accompanied by enough liquid to soak a mattress? Have you been having sex with jellyfish and mistaking the liquidated flesh oozing from its puncture wound as being an orgasm?

I just think people are unfairly hateful of PETA. It's ok to disagree with them, but 95% of the time when people complain about them there are serious factual inaccuracies to their complaints.

I don't understand, I didn't say to refrain from sex with females. And I also don't understand why you're calling me a homosexual as though it has negative connotations.

PETA provided evidence to law enforcement, that evidence seems to have included a video that can be found on youtube. Whatever evidence it was, it was clearly enough to get law enforcement (not PETA) to raid the ranch and prosecute the owner.

Interesting that you didn't accept that your previous comment was totally incorrect.

If someone accidentally squirted all over my bed (and let's be honest, if you're squirting more than a couple of tablespoons then it is urine-based, there's simply no other place down there that stores that much liquid) I would be annoyed. I would try not to carry on, but frankly, having a clean, non-smelly bed is really really important. If she knew she was likely to squirt, she should have done it on her own bed or put some towels down first.

/r/sex's response is always, unerringly and blindly, sex-positive. "You soaked his belongings in human excretions and he was annoyed? What a dickhead!".

I believe you are mistaken, if we're thinking of the same ranch. I remember it getting to the front page. However, the title was not just sensationalised, but totally false.

A PETA member gained employment at the ranch and filmed the conditions, PETA handed the footage and other evidence to law enforcement. They allege that the cats in fact weren't receiving medical care. Clearly their evidence was quite convincing as it is the lack of care of sick cats that led to cruelty to animals charges laid against the owner of the operation.

Based on that evidence, law enforcement and (legally empowered) ASPCA raided the operation, taking cats into the ASPCA's care and putting down those that were too unwell. I find it interesting how people react so violently to euthanisation of pets. There's nothing wrong with euthanisation, it is sometimes the most ethical choice.

To summarise, PETA investigated the ranch and provided evidence to the judicial system, the judicial system took action against the ranch. That action has prevented the continued suffering of animals.

I have never seen one of those other charities hold that sort of advertising campaign. PETA is a marketing powerhouse. Their messages are usually quite agreeable, they don't really do anything unethical. I think people are offended more by their fervoured attempts to challenge their beliefs than for any genuinely good reason.

South Australian MP says that providing IVF to lesbians is a "threat to men". Good news, America, you don't have the monopoly on faulty reproduction logic! by scarlettblythein TwoXChromosomes

[–]Moustachiod_T-Rex 0 points1 point ago

It's not misogyny when you dislike gay and lesbian couples equally. It probably isn't even misogyny if he only protests lesbian couples having children, because the 'gyny' in 'misogyny' means 'women', not 'lesbian'. He wants children to have mothers and fathers, he isn't valuing the father's role over the mother's role (and if he holds traditional 'nuclear family' views, he probably values the mother more highly than the father anyway).

Why can't we keep a head alive without a body. by grumpyoldgitin askscience

[–]Moustachiod_T-Rex 12 points13 points ago

I am a biologist who in the past worked a little bit with animals. While you're right about requiring huge amounts of paperwork and that most animals are treated well, animal rights protesters usually don't just protest because animals are being tested, but protest because they have evidence of cruelty.

Undercover PETA (don't downvote) investigators at Huntington Life Sciences (UK/USA) found a remarkable array of abuse, including video of a restrained, living, and possibly conscious monkey being dissected. There are similar recent examples at several other USA/UK contract research firms.

However, in my experience university staff are genuinely interested in animal welfare. Animal testing shouldn't be protested in general, but neither should we dismiss out of hand the protests that do occur.

Can you cite those, particularly 'anti-blended families'? You seem to be equating South Australian conservatives to USA conservatives. We should be pleased that we have a relatively low concentration of crazy in our politicians.

Oh I don't know why I replied that, I must have weirdly misread your comment or something.

I haven't seen any evidence to support that he's only anti-single-mother. He'd presumably be anti-single-father too. I don't know why when politicians say stupid things people scramble to misinterpret it is misogyny.
