So, let's recap:

-ALL porn is misogynistic, and made exclusively for men.

-If you see a naked picture of someone other than your partner and it turns you on, you cheated and should probably just end the relationship.

-All viewers of porn do so compulsively, and do so to look "constantly" at only one specific fetish, which would always be easily attainable for them in the real world.

I don't mean to suggest that all people who are anti-their-partner-looking-at-porn are anti-masturbation/anti-fantasy, but I think the reality is that many of them are (edit: yourself included, based on your comments elsewhere).

I feel like if you desire sexual encounters with other people so badly that you're actually searching out pornographic material to support the attraction, you should be single and in the market for whatever your tastes are. Not in a relationship with someone who doesn't fit the bill of what gets your rocks off.

Would you say the same about erotica? If a woman is an a committed relationship, does reading a story as a masturbatory aid mean she should break up with her partner to find someone who matches the stories she's getting off to?

I'll grant you the slim possibility that your boyfriend really, truly never looks at porn. But let's not kid ourselves, he (just like every other non-asexual person on the planet) gets off at least some of the time on fantasies involving other people. The reason you see such viscerally negative comments in a lot of porn threads is that so many of the purportedly anti-porn crowd are actually representatives of the anti-masturbation or anti-fantasy-life crowd. If you don't want your SO to look at porn because of specific effects it may have on your relationship, great. If you don't want them looking because it means they'll fantasize about other people, that just seems delusional. You can stop someone from looking at pictures, but you can't just make them turn their brain off.

I do really appreciate your clear recognition that what's right for you is not necessarily what's right for everyone, and it's great that you and your SO have communicated explicitly about what's right for the two of you.
