It's cheaper because it goes at Sorcery speed, rather than the others being Instant speed. If it had the 1B mana cost, it would be strictly worse than cards like Terror or Doom Blade, even if it became an instant.

1) I would like to be able to grant myself super powers of any sort, with no restrictions.

2) I would kill all those who either wish for death, or cannot due to brain death (i.e. those in vegetative states)

3) I would make all of the earth's soil exceedingly rich (in nutrients) for farming purposes.

For Argument A, I'm not sure if premise 2 works. For example, property B is "x is blue". The negation of B would then be "x is not blue". While it's obvious that B is limited (forcing x to have the color blue), we can see that ~B is also limited, though not to the extent that B is limited. By ruling out that something can't be blue, we're limiting the possibilities for that thing.

I was visiting London the day before the Royal Wedding, taking a break from my studies abroad. I had time to kill so I took a trip to the British Museum. On my way back, I walked through Russel Square, underneath some archways covered in vines.

Suddenly, I hear some rustling above, and a squirrel falls from above, right in front of me. It looks confused for a few seconds, then runs to a nearby tree, as he does this, a second squirrel falls in a similar manner, landing in the hood of my jacket. Hilarity ensued.

Once I got the little bastard off of me, I was curious to see what caused them to fall in the first place. I then spent the next 10 minutes watching the pair attempt to climb a nearby tree, whose bark was very loose; they would get about halfway up, grab a loose piece of bark, and fall to earth.
