No, its next to an elderly resources center and my laundry lady's shop, and nearby is McDonald's and a cinema. That's it. More likely, at least in this case, they want to encourage the elderly living there to ride MTR rather than take the Nathan Road buses which are much more convenient.

But I think that you're on the ball when it comes to other kiosks...

OMG the tour buses at Ocean Park. I was halfway through the shark tunnel bit when a torrent was unleashed on me; tried to catch a glimpse of the Leafy Sea Dragons through the cameras pressed up to the glass, but I eventually gave up and left, which was difficult by itself.

Now there's this issue of property agents trying to sell apartments to visiting mainlanders. Look for them on holiday weekends in Jordan/Elements.

1:

the lift dropped from the 24th floor to the 14th floor... The lift in the 27-story building was stopped by a safety device... an initial inspection indicated the counterweight used in the lift had loosened, leading to the plunge, but the safety device stopped the lift in time. The four cables of the lift remained intact.

There's a great burger place in 360 supermarket in Elements mall. All the burgers have Thousand Island Dressing, presumably because it's delicious, but I'm sure you could ask them to leave it off if you don't like it. Combo $40-$50.
