Where are some good "hole in the wall" restaurants in Tucson? by youngjeezyvsgbushin Tucson

Frank's at Grant and Alvernon. Go for breakfast. It looks awful on the outside, but their chorizo breakfast burrito is the stuff of dreams.

Knowing reddit I will probably get more hatred than the mugger for this...but I recently got breast implants. AMA by fakeboobiesin IAmA

When I was a kid I wanted to be an Egyptologist but instead became a Finance/IS major because I realized that I get sunburnt immediately when I go outside and being a computer nerd is fun.

I was in junior high. I remember seeing it on the news while I ate my breakfast and I just couldn't process it. I went to school and the campus was oddly silent. People were praying around the flagpole and my friends and I talked in hushed tones about what had happened. School lessons were put to the side for the day and we just watched CNN coverage in class. My most vivid memory of that day was watching the list of those missing or killed during life skills class. It took me a long time to process those emotions and to really understand what was happening.

This was the first time they set up the laser maze, next time (in a few weeks) they will have a detector to set off an alarm, complete with flashing red lights. The system seen in the picture was just monitored by my friend who set off the alarms if he saw a beam broken.

They were laser modules that were bounced off small mirrors. I'm not an optics genius, but that's how it was explained to me :)

They had a fog machine running - your understanding of lasers is correct! I think they had to experiment with the amount of fog to get the proper attenuation of the lasers. The fog was made with "water-based fog juice" according to my friend, like the kind used in movies.

Oh and if anyone is interested in the technical details, the room was totally dark and I had my camera on a tripod. I had everyone stand still and used one burst of flash to illuminate them. Canon 7D, ISO 800, f/ 2.8, 8 second exposure

Also an awesome scene. I'm going to have to watch that on Netflix tonight - I've never seen it before! But its Sean Connery with lasers, so its gotta be good.

Even the word "angora" makes me itchy. I'm so allergic! I have to be awkwardly cautious when shopping for sweaters. Don't get me wrong, bunnies are awesome but I'd rather they held onto that fur of theirs...

I've cried at gyms before. I get nervous and overwhelmed and its especially hard when someone is watching you. You're not alone, and you're not overly emotional! Its totally ok. Don't let this stop you from pursuing your fitness goals! (Internet hug)

Have you ever gotten a friend a job only to have them screw it up? by VickyValein AskReddit

I made the mistake of getting a friend a job at my workplace. It was a small retail store and I did it to be nice; he said he needed the money and I thought he would take the job seriously. Instead, he slept on the job, wasted time, and eventually stopped showing up entirely. It made me look bad to my boss, and made me realize that he was a lazy and worthless person. It was the end of our friendship. In conclusion, don't get your "friends" a job, unless you're willing to put your reputation and friendship on the line.

Grab "The Handmaids Tale" or "Oryx and Crake" by Margaret Atwood :) amazing post-apocalyptic storytelling. I also recommend China Mieville who writes so-called "weird fiction." In terms of straight-up scifi/fantasy, get Dune, or the Belgariad series by David Eddings. I just re-read those for the millionth time, they are always entertaining.
