The severity of injuries can vary, but here’s a look at four NBA players who suffered abdominal injuries. All had quiet, conservative games in their return before responding in their second game back.

Jamario Moon: Then-Cleveland forward was out from Jan. 3-Jan. 25, 2010. Had only two points in six minutes in first game back, against Miami, but scored 14 points in 24 minutes two days later against Minnesota.

D.J. Augustin: Charlotte guard missed 3 1/2 weeks in 2009, scoring eight points in 16 minutes in his return, against Atlanta. Two nights later, had 27 points and six assists in 39 minutes against the Heat.

Mo Williams: Current Clippers guard missed five games over two weeks while with Milwaukee in 2008. Managed only five points in 23 minutes in return vs. Boston before having 26 points and 11 assists in 37 minutes three days later against Miami.

Kevin Garnett: Celtics forward missed three weeks in 2008. Had four points in 21 minutes vs. Denver but 17 points and 15 rebounds the following night vs. Golden State.
