TROPHY CASE

Factory Paint Color Options (1988 GT) by Lamezin Mustang

[–]Lamez[S] 0 points1 point ago

Well, my Explorer is totaled from a recent hail storm we had and I am going to need a ride here in a week after I turn it in to the insurance company. I do agree that it is over priced and I think I can talk him down. There isn't really much in my area that has a running fox body mustang that has a rebuilt engine, so I might have to take this one for what it is.

I always thought if you buy a high power machine, might as well feel like you are apart of it. However, choose which you like better.

How did I do? by Lamezin hardware

[–]Lamez[S] 0 points1 point ago

Well I have more limitations due to the accepted resolutions between the "mirror" monitor and the projector. I also have it on 8bit of color at 66Hz. Allowing each display device on separate channels should provide more options to release these limitations and have a more brighter display. Which is really what I am after.

We have a projector and two monitors I currently have it on a VGA splitter (one monitor and the projector), working fine. I am going to use the S-video for our live stream and such. Sorry I am being so vague, I just woke up. I also think that it will help with some resolution and brightness problems I am having.

I don't like it when people leave comments like that to other people, while may be deserving, a little immature.

Even if someone created a server, how would one manage keeping the immature ones out?

[–]Lamez 0 points1 point ago

No you would have to treat your external hard drive as a flash drive and follow that tutorial I showed you.

Yes, while it may be slower due to the bus speeds of the Universal Serial Bus and the Serial Advanced Technology Attachment bus it is still possible. As I explained how the operating system booting process works, you can see how using a flash drive could work. Your BIOS must allow devices to be booted from the flash drive (most new BIOS'\Motherboards allow this out of the box). Your flash drive works similar to a hard drive. It is made for digital storage and retrieval. I have personally never done such a thing, but there seem to be plenty of tutorials online. See here

Very nice. I live in the south with no shade near my grass. I have plated Bermuda. "The south's grass." I might want some trees later, so I will put some fescue in those areas.

Personally, I wouldn't put my money towards something like that, if you can make your own. If you have any old hardware, or an old PC laying around you can utilize that. Currently I have a data server connected to my router with 2x500Gb hard drives (That was a lot when I bought them). I have a rolling backup to a 1.5TB external HDD. Then I have Debian (Linux) running with Samba. So now every system connected to my router can access the data with the correct credentials. If you are interested going this route, I can help you set it up. However if you want a simple solution and don't mind spending a little more then go ahead.

I feel like someone should tell you why you need a hard drive. A hard drive is a form digital storage and retrieval. The only way to run the windows operating system is to install the data on a hard drive along with a boot sector that has all the boot information. When you turn on your PC and you have a single POST then the bios looks for the Master Boot Record, which is the boot sector of the hard drive. Loads the information into the RAM (Random Access Memory), then loads the operating system. This is pretty difficult to do without a hard drive. However there are forms of Linux that come with a Live-CD\Live-CD option. Which allows you to "test-drive" the operating system before installation. This will allow you to use basic functions of your computer till you find a more permanent solution. Linux is free and open-source. You can download a version and burn it to a disc and use the Live-CD function without the need of a hard drive. Also an important note, if you use your internal hard drive and you have valuable information on it, you may want to back it up before installing windows on it. If you format the drive you loose that information so be careful!
