The scamming rate for Gamersoul alone is a hell of alot better than chinese gold farming sites, where you can't do anything since they are in another country.

No, that won't fix anything. That subreddit could go bad, advertising hacks, go full on hacking subreddit, people get keylogged, people come here, blame us, etc.

The best way to deal with this is allow posting links to hacking sites in very strict situations. Such as if someone asks where to buy mesos, give REPUTABLE people the right to post specific links to threads of a legit seller in their server.

Only people who are very active on gamersoul, and know who are reputable sellers should be given this right.

I know certain people, such as myself and V1ral, who frequent GS close to every day, should only be given this right.

You're very much adding words in my mouth. I never said hacking and buying mesos doesn't effect the broken state of the game, infact, I agree with that. But people are going to buy mesos anyways, so why not help them buy them safely?

I'm not asking for us to link to hacking sites so we can post hacks here, I'm asking so that we can help guide users to buying mesos safely, if they want to.

Oh, you mean the Market Report section that gets around 3-10 new threads a week, in a forum of over 100k members? On Gamersoul, you'll never get scammed as long as you use an OMM. I'm not saying we should link to them in the sidebar, but I don't think we should be reprimanded for posting links to such forums.

Your argument for scamming is invalid. If you are smart, you will use an OMM. There is no way to be scammed otherwise, and there are not "floods" of scammed by threads.

I'm sorry, but get over yourself, they've done events with Basilmarket, a probably 500k+ user site, of which a good 100k+ are active, only a handful of times.

Actually, they do.

I almost got scammed by the popular Maplestoryer.com site, until I threatened to pursue legal action, then I got my shit. The difference in these two sites is that you're dealing with the site, and they get your money and can say fuck you, you aren't getting your shit.

With hacking sites, there are Official Middlemen with hundreds to thousands of trades, and they act as middlemen in the trade for a very small fee. If you USE an omm on a hacking site, you'll never get scammed. Ever. You just have to make sure you add the right OMM and not a fake.

I agree with KAN in every aspect, and you guys need to get over your little idea that hacking sites are dangerous or will attract the wrong kind of people.

And for ThatWasMyKil, your argument of the kind of people those sites attract is invalid.

50% of the users at GS are BT mules/leechers, 95% of the population there are helpful members, legit or hackers.

Hell, probably less than 10% of GS users are actual hackers, that know the programming of the game well enough to exploit it.
