As I'm browsing r/ladyboners lately... by Killerzeitin LadyBoners

They do not, and as far as I know, it's just a joke. :)

You aren't missing out on anything.

Anyone here gonna wear a costume to San Diego Comic-Con? by anonymous_potatoin comiccon

My friend and I are going to be Stormtroopers (two in a thousand, right?). Worked on the leg pieces the other day. (In the picture the legs are sitting on the floor the wrong way, but the kneecap and belt thing are on the correct pieces).

What all the 'you've been added to xyz's favorites' messages will now turn into... by DontPanicJustDancein OkCupid

The pop-up has been gone for some time. I thought we determined that it just didn't notify anybody any more. If it does... well, that sucks.

Did you know someone or did you apply for internships/jobs directly when you started working? What show have you had the most fun working on and why?

Living in the area and having been to many TV tapings, including Big Bang, I can say your job seems pretty sweet. I was almost background for Castle once, but I didn't fit what they wanted for that particular call.

Girls of OKC how often do you message someone first? by Lickaheroin OkCupid

[–]Killerzeit 1 point2 points ago

If I sent out a message, I probably got a response half the time, but only half of the responses actually seemed interested. I think most of them replied just to be nice.

I have actually experienced that once as well. My grandparents used to live in Payson, Arizona on the top of a big hill and had acres of property. One night I was sitting on the porch watching the storm roll in with all the lightning. A bolt of lightning, which really does look like a bolt at the bottom, struck about 300 feet away from where I was sitting.

The bottom looks like bright red fire, followed by blinding white light, and I heard it probably at the same exact time I saw it. Loud, scary, awesome.

Most people don't realize it (or pay attention) until they watch something like this.

I live about 3.5 miles from Disneyland, and I can see the fireworks from my kitchen. You can hear/feel the fireworks, but it's seconds after you see them. When I have people over, almost everyone is surprised the first time, and they always comment on just how slow sound is. It's weird.

First thing I did, too. Fits perfectly with my Android's screen.

Pictures of the 6.0 Earthquake in North Italy by socksin worldnews

[–]Killerzeit 2 points3 points ago

There's no doubt my work is newer than my house. I think the center was built in the early 90s.

The last night-time earthquake I remember was 15-ish years ago. My pool was everywhere.

Anyway, you don't know how much this helps. I know earthquakes just come with living here, and I think they are cool from a scientific standpoint, but I can't help but succumb to a panic attack when they happen.

Oh, cool. Thanks!

That makes more sense to me. I was thinking it must have been pretty dumb to make almost an entire room out of glass, given our location. I suppose I should have a little more faith in it.

No table, but I guess I could wedge myself into a storage cabinet under the counter.

Thinking about it, I suppose I would rather be under a table and have glass fall on it than huge chunks of debris.

I live in southern CA, and my workplace is a huge two-story lobby made almost entirely of glass, including most of the ceiling. If a big earthquake happens while I'm there, should I just kiss my ass goodbye? I think about it often, since I spend at least half my time there.

It's Not Just the Gentlemen Who Get Ignored. by SoundByte9in OkCupid

Anything that happens only on the site does not bother me if it stops happening. If someone wants to talk to you, you'll know. If they don't, they stop.

The bad part is meeting up with someone a couple times then having them stop contacting you, and you're left sort of wondering what went wrong. Messages on the site, I could not care less about. It's not personal. I have a small male audience, so I do not get surprised.

This happened while playing on a claw machine, is this why I never win a prize? by cannedtomatoesin AskReddit

[–]Killerzeit 0 points1 point ago

That's really weird. I used to always win at those. That's pretty much where all my tickets ever came from. One time I kept winning so much that the employee had to keep putting ticket stock in it, and he was like WTF every time.

I was just browsing my front page and opened this not really expecting to see it. It actually took my breath away. That's never even happened to me even with all the times I browse stuff like r/ladyboners.

Wonderful submission.

Anyone else going to this? There are still some tickets left for Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Godesses. Literally a hop, skip, and a jump away from the convention center. by Killerzeitin comiccon

Dang. Wish I had known about that.

Not much different than leetUP, which I went to in March. Still would have liked to be able to do both. Curse them being on the same day.
