Alright. I have two styles that I find extra appealing. this one, which is just more of the ...wide even lighting. Just making random abstract shapes seems really fun. Also, the very systematic feel of things such as this. I believe this guy just spins a light around and slowly moves in a circle. But is it just an led on a string or something?

Nice. So you seem to be relatively educated on this subject. What do people use as lights when making the really cool light painting pictures? Are there any specific or commonly used tools, or do people just grab anything that lights up?

Oh, the iPod is actually the light source, not the camera. I captured the photo with a Canon 20d.

I don't know much about it, but it's hosted on Facebook. I'm not sure of its legitimacy or prestige. But it's there, and lots of people post to it. Some are jokes, some are actually good looking, and then this thing.
