Women of Reddit: Looks or Intelligence in a Man.... by eire1228in AskReddit

[–]GenJonesMom 1 point2 points ago

[2], but it would depend on his personality as well.

I just learned my new girlfriend is a "financial mistress." Men on the internet, whom she has never met, give her money because they get off on the act of giving her money. What other weird ass things happen that I'm ignorant to? by WTFISTHISACTUALLYin AskReddit

[–]GenJonesMom 0 points1 point ago

One of my sons has a friend with benefits who makes a shitload doing something similar, but she does much more for the money. That's why she'll never be his girlfriend--he doesn't want to share. That, and the fact she didn't tell him about it until they'd been dating for awhile.

Someone already post that ever so witty quote. See my response.

Ladies of reddit, if a girl knows a guy is younger than her, is she less likely to be attracted to them? by MyCodesCompilingin AskReddit

[–]GenJonesMom 1 point2 points ago

28 is still a puppy to me. I couldn't see me with a guy younger than one of my sons. At my age it's look, but don't touch.

I didn't know they existed either, but heck, I'd love to be one. However, she must be giving them something in return, even if it's just sexually based text and not pictures or web cam shots.

Depends on their maturity level and just how much younger he looks.

Why does seeing an attractive woman's butthole turn me on more than seeing her vagina does? by No_Butthole_No_Carein AskReddit

[–]GenJonesMom 1 point2 points ago

Albeit obviously sexually arousing to men, I don't see why they find vagina's attractive. A butt-hole doesn't look like raw meat, so I could see why you'd find it more attractive and a turn on. However, it's all in personal taste I guess.

My parents watch Fox News. What are the BEST arguments I can present to them to change their viewing habits? by CjDaGangstain AskReddit

[–]GenJonesMom -1 points0 points ago

Ask them to count how many times Fox complains about the Republican Party or a Republican candidate compared to how much they praise them. Have them count how many Democrats are guests on the show and how are they treated if on does get invited on. How many times are the President, the Democratic Party, politicians who are Democrats (all Democrats as well for that matter) virtually vilified? This should help prove the network is just a shill and mouthpiece for the GOP.

How come reddit is really anal about spelling/grammar except when it comes to then/than? by Aneamicin AskReddit

[–]GenJonesMom 0 points1 point ago

I don't generally see that particular mistake very often. I'm quite the self-professed grammar freak, but seldom correct people on Reddit. Indubitably, I'll end up making one myself shortly thereafter. I will comment on post titles without capitalization though. That one is just too irritating not to address.

What "nice" things do people do that annoy you? by scepticalgorillain AskReddit

[–]GenJonesMom 2 points3 points ago

Signal for you to take the right-of-way when it's theirs, especially at a four-way stop. You don't always see that they want you to take it and it just confuses everyone. If you have the right-of-way and everyone is waiting for you to take it, then take it!

How much of the content on Reddit is for karma? by manoftwonutsin AskReddit

[–]GenJonesMom 0 points1 point ago

that people find funny even if you don't agree with it,

people will post something even if they don't agree with it.

How do you know they don't agree with it?

Regardless of why someone submits a post or a comment, they wouldn't get upvotes and the ensuing karma if people didn't like it. Personally, I'm getting sick of the karma bitching. If I have a post or comment do well, I figure I did or said something people enjoyed or thought was relevant.

My sister and mother think I overreacted. I think not. What's your opinion? by nyancat89in AskReddit

They should have let you know they were leaving. I'm on your side.

What's the worst possible outcome with a war with Pakistan? by iprobablyliedsorryin AskReddit

[–]GenJonesMom 1 point2 points ago

Don't feel bad. I'm sure a lot of people are unaware of this.

They have nukes. If they decide to use them, that would be a catastrophic outcome. This is why we continue to try to have a dialog with them and use diplomacy.

Is abuse construed differently for gay couples because its man v. man or woman v. woman? (x-post from /r/gay) by LanaSaysin AskReddit

[–]GenJonesMom 0 points1 point ago

This is one of the arguments for gay marriage and/or civil unions. This way an abuser can be arrested for domestic violence the same as same-sex couples who are married or living together.

How has the internet created a part of you (good or bad) that wouldn't have otherwise existed? by willgofurtherin AskReddit

[–]GenJonesMom 1 point2 points ago

A voice that is sometimes read by more people than I can wrap my head around. A top comment on a top post could potentially be read by millions.

[–]GenJonesMom 11 points12 points ago

And no woman should want a guy who has slept around constantly, but I think the number of partners is expected to be lower for a female than a man. Otherwise, she's labeled a "slut" while he's simply an admired "stud".

I know that some women prefer big dicks, but is size a deal breaker? Can a woman still have good sex with a small dick? by crazysmallin AskReddit

[–]GenJonesMom 3 points4 points ago

Good sex involves so much more than just intercourse. Get good at the other aspects that get women off and the size of your penis won't matter. Besides, many (if not most) women don't orgasm from penetration alone. BTW, a smaller dick is a plus when it comes to anal.

If you had to choose between having wisdom or intelligence, which one would you choose? by Roger_Rogerin AskReddit

[–]GenJonesMom 0 points1 point ago

Seems to me it would be difficult to be wise without intelligence, but you could be intelligent without wisdom.

Shitty analogy.

One time something stupid happened to me, or didn't, and I'm just making it up. What recent Reddit trends are annoying you? by OrangeBeardin AskReddit

[–]GenJonesMom 1 point2 points ago

Not a recent trend, but an ongoing one--bitching about Reddit having a karma system and assuming those with a lot are karma whores.
