I'd say our entire generation of guys who are online-savy have watched a large amount of porn and weirder stuff than should ever be brought up in IRL conversations.

But I too have been around porn probably since the same age, 22 years old now, and am engaged to an amazing woman. We rarely talk about porn, but we understand that each other does partake in it, we also don't enjoy watching it together because it's become a personal part of life and would degrade most things in the bedroom together; and while I wouldn't say we have the most vanilla sex, it's nothing I wouldn't expect average people my parents generation to do.

But yes I would say it is much more like giving head, not that I would know exactly because I haven't applied this technique to a man obviously.

So I'll assume most guys are like me and when I masturbate I watch porn and apply myself to the situation and it becomes more real. Well that's pretty easy using your hand because your main stimulation is in your penis, but while sucking your own penis also gives you a (non-sexual) stimulation in your mouth that is hard to get past.

All in all, I've probably only done it once, it took awhile, and I still had to finish myself off by hand.

This is exactly as I see it, sounds like I'm in a similar situation. Although for reasons of survival I don't think I would make many ventures into the city unless dire circumstances made it necessarily. My plan is to do all of these things prior to things ending and instead making my way out while people are bickering and killing each other over small things. Prior Planning ...

And yes after the first winter I think it would separate those who will be living and those who cannot and will not be living. Winter is something I've definitely (unknowingly) underestimated until now.

I like your ideas, definitely some good ideas. The bike thing is something of overlooked value as well. Something I rarely think about but I am an avid biker, both road and mountain biking. As for that I would say inner tubes and tires to be important, but even more so patch kits which will make everything last much longer. If infrastructure fails permanently bikes will eventually be phased out as it requires rubber and oil to create tires.

I feel as though it would be a relatively good idea to stockpile seeds, in this situation they would be of GREAT value. Hell at this point gold is even useless. Its survival mode.

Trying to think of a situation now where as you put it, "people would have their shit together". I suppose this would be either a core group of people to rely on or be able to get to or gain access to a commune type of hippie settlement ... but with guns.

I'll agree with that, after reading it though proves that he was just going out to have fun. Not to be a dick be he is widely agreed to have been stupid, going out there with little more than his clothes and a couple simple necessities thinking that he could rough it and show the world he could make it.

Neighbors will be the only ones that matter. The police will be useless at this point. When I say wilderness areas I mean you take unmarked roads for about an hour through some pretty gnarly terrain that you won't make it to without a lifted 4wd.

I've been there before, the people here have confederate flags on everything and I've spent my whole life living with country "folk" I'll fit in just fine.

Have a small shotgun and a .38 for defense. Have 2 very old .22's from a great grandfather that sit as antiques. But I know if I go I'd grab at least one to use for small game and lightweight ammo, plus everything in the 1900's was built to last.

I have a large assortment of medical supplies for simple fixes, like deep cuts and the such.

Problem is again once shit hits the fan the first things stolen will be medical supplies, food, and guns/ammo. Have to have those first so you don't get killed in the melee for those.

Same here sir, and thank you for mentioning this. I can't stress how much sense this makes. You can carry ammunition but to carry enough to use for an entire lifetime would weigh WAY too much for even a large backpack.

What happens when you can't connect to GPS satillites anymore, or once all electronics die because no one is manning the power plants thus unable to get power for a useless electronic paperweight.

Have equipment ready to live in the wild for years if need be. I live in a place which is well populated but an hour or 2 outside there are large wilderness areas which no one would ever go if the world fails. I don't want to be around when shit hits the fan (cue Mad Max films).

I'm not storing food because that only lasts for so long, I want to live the rest of my life. That requires hunting and farming, two things of which I don't do yet but I know that I could and I could cut and clean an animal if need be.

I want to be light on my feet to get out to the wilderness, and once I get there be able to pack up and move quickly for evasion if need be. Carrying limited guns and ammunition as it weighs a lot but will be needed for my likelihood. But I only get so much, once its gone its gone, that means if you want food I can eat vegetables or become proficient in bow hunting.
