I'm from the Philippines. I moved here when I was 15 for school.

I find the Filipino community very cliquey. Of course there are some exceptions, but KP in particular I feel strongly against. Most of their members grew up here and only know a tiny bit of Filipino culture. That's fine, but what I don't like is how they try to make a big deal out of being Filipino, when they hardly know anything about the culture.

You'll understand what I mean when you get here. We should totally be friends, chong. Tingin ko magkakasundo tayo.

Japan is not a good place to study abroad for CS, especially now that you're done with your GEs. I'm in the same boat (done with GEs and CS major). I'd advise you to just wait until you graduate or travel on your own terms. Much more fun that way.

Why does PCG devote only a few pages for the cover story? I was excited for some issues like the Diablo III and the Duke Nukem Forever ones, yet the articles themselves had less than five pages. What's up with that?
