Well so far, it's great, we'll see with future episodes. The story is amazing, the character interaction and your choices sculpting the events of the story are where the meat is at. There is some cool zombie slaughter, but if you're looking for anything along Dead Island/Left 4 Dead, lines set in a Walking Dead universe, you're in the wrong place. That being said, play it, everyone has to, even if you pirate, it's worth it.

For the record, I had everything set to the most simply easiest difficulty(only my second game, and portugal had conquered most of the northern and eastern parts of brazil, as for my colonist ratio, I also made a second center of trade, and I westernized/military modernization pretty quickly, thanks to a strong tribal leader, and and sinking all my money into stability investment. (I also got some events that helped my slider movements for the record)

Very fun, it has more of a learning curve than EU3 does. The ancient setting is really interesting. All in all though, it's not overly difficult, and a game can be finished pretty quickly.
