Oh but nothing is comparable to RR .... unless you've got stuff like GI Rare that you're willing to go 1:1 with, it seems like a fruitless effort. Same thing with LeBleu ....

This is an aside but I thought it worth adding here .... during Kate Day, some of the Portsmouth/Smuttynose brewers and myself did a side by side between BV and Heady ... BV won hands down ... with no one voting Heady first. I wasn't surprised after I tried BV for the first time.

I actually liked Pure Hoppiness a bit better ... but I'm another one of those who relies on shipping (east coast) so maybe it lost something but then again so wouldn't the Pure Hoppiness have lost something as well?

Yeah ... got a couple different things in today .... popping the Bitter Valentine tonight. My buddy from back home sent me the Williamsburg stuff ... threw in the Cafe for giggles. Such a good brew, but I'm hearing amazing things about the BV ... very heavy on the tropical fruit. I'll let you know.
