This is buried down here, but there are two things I need to say after having read your original post and this reply.

1) You need to give yourself more credit. You are letting this girl jerk you around and completely control the situation, which she is clearly incapably of doing.

She doesn't know what she wants.

Guess what: YOU DO! You want her. So take it. Don't let her fuck you around on this emotional roller coaster. Get serious. Next time you are with her, lay on the romance, the seductive comments. Move toward the physical. Be obvious.

Tell her you are done playing games, tired of the heart ache, that you need to know, NOW, what the two of you are. Can you be lovers?! These are the questions you need to ask directly. Don't take bullshit answers.

2) Stop thinking so much. I can tell by your writing that you put a lot of thought into everything, right down to every individual word you use in conversation. That is a great skill to have, and deep thought can be a very seductive trait if honed properly.

But you need to know when to turn in off, and this is one of those times. Stop thinking with your brain so much, start thinking with your heart and your penis. The passion is there; it's obvious in the way you talk about this girl. You are crazy about her, so get crazy.

She will notice, and you will feel a lot better about the situation because you will have taken control of it.
