You just need to know how to peyote stitch, that piece didn't have a pattern. I just found a mask template for measurement and added on the mushroom. http://kandipatterns.com/ is a good place to look, they've got all kinds of patterns and tutorials.

Just wear whatever you want, and make sure you're comfortable and don't overheat. Kandi is fun if your down to make and wear bracelets. You can do all kinds of fun things with EL wire or LEDs. I'm working on a Doctor Who (Matt Smith version) outfit with EL wire suspenders, bow tie, and shoe laces and an LED sonic screwdriver (I need to look up how to rig a soundboard up to it) I've seen Pokemon, Banana suits, teletubbies, masks of all sorts, Jesus, super man and woman, he man, and a whole ton of people in very comfy clothing.

Haven't seen a tutorial but I imagine a good place to start would be to string up a mask make sure it's pretty tight, make a couple of 15-20 long 5 high cuffs and attach them and finish it wish some bad ass peyote work or 3d cuff kind of design to cap off the ends.

EDIT I think I'm gonna make a gasmask.

I know the inova clips work on a few other lights, mine are inovas. But you can order 7 clips for a dollar from orbitlightshow.com. My hooked a couple up to his glovmax said they held fine.

Lol I'm 5'7 115 lbs on a good day, and I've had quite a few girls on my shoulders. Hell it's not that hard and doesn't really start wearing me out til about 15 minutes or 5 walking around. What kills me are the idiots who do it in the middle of a crowd raging out, I'll get knocked on my ass without a chick riding shoulder, no way I'd be able to keep her afloat amidst a raging sea of drug driven bros who see no difference in EDC and warped tour.
