You make the assumption I haven't done a single thing about the things that have bothered me. Quite the opposite, in fact. I've stared down many giggling idiots, explicitly and definitely explained the ridiculousness of commie beliefs to the commie bastards, voiced my opposition thoroughly whenever any of these (that's an apt phrasing, have to admit) "God's gifts" started stepping into my territory. 'sides, not all the issues I'd consider superficial. Three years of being treated as inferior simply because I had to earn my living expenses is not that easy to overlook. However I have fought for some mental comfort, however, there was simply no end to the bastards. What I have now is the much-needed end. I don't have to deal with this bullshit any more - that's what makes me happy.

Reddit is for voicing opinions - hence I voice mine. It's certainly not the only way I express my joy for the end of my time with Goldsmiths (or any organised educational institution for that matter). There's a challenging job, regular exercise, dancing classes, tons of books to read and many other things. So, there. :)

I've been curious about the reception of acknowledged myths, such as fantasy books. Even though I've the awareness of how ghosts are rather unlikely, I still enjoy reading novels that feature the afterlife, such as Mike Carey's Felix Castor series or The Folly series by Ben Aaronovitch (though it's mostly due to good writing rather than presence of supernatural element in the story). There's also writers that attempt using the fictional elements with well-thought scientific background, such as Michael Crichton.

Do you still enjoy supernatural (or sci-fi) as a reader?

Mouse allows for more precise range of movement. In FPS-es, you need to be able to do both minute adjustments and wide sweeps in the same split second. Analog stick, with the limited range it possesses (there's only as far and as fast as you can tilt it) is less suited for such usage. Granted, I'm only speaking from my experience with FO3 - my own game was modded up to the point of "headshot everyone or die horribly", so quick aiming was critical. Vanilla FO3 might be less touchy on the subject. There's still the matter of bindings if you're into modding scene, though - the game pad doesn't have a lot of spare buttons.

Definitely no. PC version doesn't auto-aim, meaning you're going to get your ass kicked without a precise way to aim. Stick with WSAD and mouse, it's not THAT complex. (not to mention there's plenty of mods binding additional functionality with new keys, something you won't be able to access with a pad)

Jokes aside, there's been some mentions of XBox 360 modding, but it's prone to errors, fickle, a lot of work and quite possibly requires you to have non-standard version of the console (modchip, devkit, what-have-you).

There's this post on xbox-scene, with one of the users explaining how custom mod has been added as a DLC package. The link explaining how to create Live containers is broken, but this video seems to do something similar for New Vegas.

Didn't think I'd end up posting anywhere around here, but what needs to be said, needs to be said.

The narration's not entirely clear, but if I get the timeline right: you've invited the girl over; tried to steal a smooch - denied; tried again after a while and she was fine with it; had sex, with no protests; cuddled and chatted and listened to music after the act. Then out of nowhere, she calls you claiming what happened was a rape.

She hasn't stopped you and was in a good enough mood afterwards to keep on social interaction, THEN, three days later she's like "changed my mind". That's no rape, that's either the kind of bat-shit crazy you want to keep WAAAAY away from (the case in this particular point, as judging by history of mental issues) or a manipulative, vindictive scum of the earth (not pulling punches for false rape accusations).

Chill and think, man. You're no rapist. The only thing you're guilty of is sticking your dick in crazy.
