Idly we stand by, hiding in the bushes, watching our teammates struggle for survival. We watch as you play cat and mouse with your equal counter parts, we cringe when we are too far to reach you. Silently moving, controlling, watching...almost ghosts in the battlefield called Summoners Rift.

Working diligently to prevent the opponent's unknown from getting the upper hand, protecting the ancient golem and mighty lizard, keeping eyes on the looming threats of dragons and otherworldly beasts.

But when the time is right, when your hope for survival is all but lost, we will emerge. The sight of us alone is enough to send enemies running for safety. We strike swiftly from the darkness, holding down the enemy so our teammates can achieve glory, sacrificing our bodies for the greater good. We rush to the aid of any and all friends, no matter how far apart they are.

And in the end, you will be hailed for the many enemies you have slain, the battles you waged and come out on top. And we will sit back and bath in our own silent glory, no praise needed...because we know that we are not the heroes you deserve, but the heroes you need. We shoulder the blame when failure is near, and never expect thanks.
