Overall the entire set is a wash, but I'll tell you why.

• There is little to no composition in any of these, I know this is hard in a live music setting, but you can always crop in post.

• The most important thing in live music, is of course, the performers. You either weren't close enough, or confident enough, to get any good shots of them really performing. Most of the shots they are facing away from the camera, or have their eyes closed.

• The lighting is terrible, but that's not your fault. Shitty strobe lights at local gigs are the bane of any photographer. You can still make it work for you though.

Most of the live music I shoot is in similar conditions, shitty pub venues with crappy lights. The way I make it work is to get close, think about composition, try to capture the "energy" of the performers, and always always have tack sharp focus. Especially on the performers eyes.
