I agree on the blind packs reasoning, it doesn't make much sense to me. Like I guess it could be a feature to hype up the product more, or make it more addicting since it's like gambling.

But any person I converse with does the old 'feel the bags til I find what I want thing' anyway, so they are going to make a sale regardless.

I dunno, just random thoughts.

The way it was written, to me, made it seem like a pretty serious attack/wound. I did think he was killed when it happened, but after no mention of him dying, and then the dismissal of troops to attack Stannis I figured it was just a flesh wound.

I dunno though, getting sliced in the throat, even trivially, seems like it would become bad if not properly cared for...or even if properly cared for.

Agreed. It's fun. I think I've seen everyone with a speaking role in BSG (minus the leads) somewhere in a SG1 episode. I just McGursky or what ever his name was as a Jaffa.
