TIL Steve Jobs shut down all philanthropic efforts at Apple when he returned to the company in 1997. by 996hurtin todayilearned

Probably a mix between the two. Steve wasn't an outstanding citizen, but he certainly stuck his dick in crazy.

There is absolutely nothing else going on in this story. Trust me, I read 3 sentences.

If we are going to make shit up to defend our points, let's be more creative. Steve jobs clubbed baby seals with puppies, then used the blubber as thermal paste for the apple II.

First of all, Siri was taken off the store, but people who already had it could keep using it I believe (only speaking from personal experience). Also, the Siri team is working at apple now. It is incredibly hypocritical to love valve for hiring mod developers and giving them the resources to make great games, but bash apple for essentially the same thing.

I am a huge fan of his, but he was a insane douche. He was also very awesome, but he wasn't a nice person.

I think it's still a bit of a stretch to think of him as a salesman. He alone had hundreds of patents with him as the lead engineer.

It's like 9gag. Reddit tries way too hard to counter a perceived popular opinion that it ends up creating something far worse on the other end of the spectrum.

I swung a wooden one of these I found. It is insane how hard you can hit with something so small.

Wait, so you post something on facebook, screenshot it, upload it to imgur, and then post it on reddit?

No, the same thing happens with every non-chrome browser I have tried, and all of them have performed exactly as intended.

Why would you be glad about this? Some dipshit costing the education system $30,000?

I haven't seen a toilet that is a computer. Yet.

His parents should be responsible. I don't think anyone is asking an 11 year old to pay.

The school wanted computers, and MacBooks are sturdy, and easy to use. I can leave my car unlocked but it's still stealing to take it.

Or that apple doesn't want to touch people's piss? I wouldn't expect them to service a dropped laptop, let alone a urinated one.

Yeah, I'm calling bullshit on this. MacBooks have a very small, maybe half a centimeter opening in the back, facing down. It would have been difficult to piss into one, let alone thirty. And, MacBooks are surprisingly water resistant.
