I'm only speaking here becuase this case struck me as an example where I thought someone was being walked on by their friends and I wanted to help them stand up for themselves in person, but I may have made an incorrect assumption. This is still a sanctuary, but also a place for civilized discussion.

I am a shy person so no, i don't have anything against them. But being able to speak up for oneself when needed is a valuable tool to learn.

What I read about it is that it is legal to short an IPO but very difficult as you have to borrow shares from the banks- the very banks that are bringing the company public and they don't want to lend them for shorting to protect thier investment. But if people are buying them long on margin then those shares will become available.

I'm not long or short but I wouldn't be surprised to see this stock whipsawing over the next week. It's def not gonna stay flat and I'm guessing there will be tons of support somewhere. I don't know where but it's not gonna roll over and die.

This last year of SNL was a train wreck of unfunniness. I love the show and will continue to watch it year after year but there have been some awful awful things that would kill a sloth with boredom.

Last night was a great episode in a sea of dismalness. But I'll be there first thing next season with eager eyes.

Consider ad writing at an ad agency. Pays well and you get to be creative. Write your stuff on the side and if takes off then pursue that.
