Personally, i think Islam is the true religion. It has a bad name because of the media that brain wash people, but if you try and understand it, it is nothing like the media portrays.

Think about what you know about Islam. The first thing that pops in your head is terrorism, violence against woman, oppression and praying five times a day. That's what most of the world knows about Islam.

Anyway, it is really hard to be faithful these days with all kinds of beautiful women around, drugs, alcohol, gambling etc. The concept of Islam is that if you want to land yourself in paradise, you must sacrifice and resist evil temptations as hard as you can. You must follow certain rules in order to be rewarded in the afterlife. For ex. As a true Muslim, you shouldn't drink alcohol or engage in sexual activities before marriage, that is hard for most Muslim teenagers growing up in the west and that is definitely a "wtf, fuck that shit" moment for non-muslims but if you believe in the afterlife and know that you are going to get your ass burnt and beat, you might say fuck the alcohol and probably pray instead.

We have a brain to think For ourselves and seek knowledge and truth at whatever cost because when we die, we answer for ourselves. Technically the saying of "go w.e suits you is false" because we tend to trick ourselves into choosing the one with variety of excuses that would allow us to do the forbidden things.

In Islam, believing That there is no other god but god and prophet Mohammed is his messenger, I am guaranteed to be forgiven after I am punished for the sins that I have committed in this life like consuming alcohol but if you are a non-believer... You got yourself a VIP ticket to hell. ;)

I am not trying to preach Islam, what i am trying to say is that Muslims are more religious than any other religions and Islam is the fastest growing religion in the world and the churches and governments seems nervous than before. ;)
