I was told not to do that because it would prevent water intake. Think it would help to cut off the ends and reseal the fresh surface?

I don't often downvote. But when I do, some underachieving asshole white kid is trying to play the victim.

...you're right, all those native, asian, black and latino kids are just constantly showered with money and opportunity.

Same. I just remember hating the artwork and despising this book as a result.

Your guitar playing is awesome, and you clearly are able to carry a tune with your singing. But you need to project your voice more. The notes are there, but you are singing like you are afraid of pissing off the neighbors, or being judged by someone in the next room. Open your mouth more and enunciate. Sing from your stomach instead of your throat.

The raw talent is there. You have the emotion to melt the ladies' hearts, but you just need to commit more to the performance.

Re-record and resubmit this same song, but this time let loose. Rock and roll!

That is awesome. You should post this over at /r/fishing too. I bet they'd love it, if you're in the mood for some extra karma. Fish nets and fish hooks... very nice.

What is something that society finds repulsive/taboo/etc. that you see no problem with? (Possibly NSFW) by ruckus666in AskReddit

In America, there is a huge aversion to slaughtering and eating horses.

But really, what separates horses from other livestock?

We ride them. That's it. It's strictly emotional.

If you have ever owned a pet cow, pig, or sheep (as I have), then you know that those animals are just as self-aware and capable of forming bonds with humans as horses. But that does not, and should not, prevent the use of those animals as food.

We are humans. We are at the top of the food chain. Get used to it.

Horse is an extremely lean, protein-rich source of meat. Bison meat has been hailed as a healthy alternative to fat laden beef for all of the same reasons.

America's aversion to horse meat has no demonstrable basis beyond 'they're pretty' and 'they are iconic'. Fuck that.

I will even go further than saying that we should allow horses to be slaughtered here in the states. I say, let's put 'em on the menu.

I can't help, but if you don't have any luck here you should try the good folks over at /r/mycology. Before posting there, you should pick a few, take some picture of the underside of the caps, and make a spore print to post as well... this always helps with ID.

Good luck!
