I have a six-month old deltoid injury that gets bothered when I do squats, something to do with the angle my arms take. If I take ibuprofen before my workout it doesn't hurt.

So my question is, does taking ibuprofen pre-lifting affect my workout? And how does ibuprofen affect my muscle repair? I find it really helps mitigate the discomfort caused by deadlifts.

How is the concept of workers owning the means of production dead? Now that the definition has changed to the STATE owning the means of production brings us much closer to what I'd call fascism than any kind of real socialism.

The various anarchism reddits are full of debates pertaining to definitions. I personally believe that if words lose their meaning, the concepts they once represented are in danger. Thus the words 'socialism' and 'capitalism' have both been steered to mean systems with a powerful government and ruling class, and the people holding those banners are practically fighting for the same cause.

Socialism is a broad concept. Personally I dislike how socialism has come to mean big government in popular discourse. That's why I wanted to clarify that the policies of some political group that calls itself 'Socialist' don't equate with 'socialism' as an ideal.

Why do legalization proponents insist on buying the right to marijuana from the government. I wish the campaign would focus on simple legalization and not include taxation.

The mentality that the very same government which murders people for having pot deserves tax money is regressive. I have a hard time supporting any laws that include tax schemes.
