when i was in third grade i made a heated proposal to my principal that my elementary school should have a system like this for backpacks because i was too lazy to carry mine down the hall. i was livid when i was told we did not have the funding for such luxuries.

when i was very young my nana would babysit me while my parents worked. when i would get too loud or annoying she would tell me the sewing needles ( dragonflies) would swoop by and sew my mouth shut. i live in a wodded swamp area so they were rampant. i am 25 now and am aware that dragonflies cannot hurt me but i am still terrified of them.
