The Irish Exit is just an awful bar. My roommate 'won' an open bar there for himself and friends. There were a bunch of restrictions, the bartenders were terrible, the music was terrible, etc

Tried to forget about that night so all I really remember is that there was a wristband that entitled friends of the winner to half price drinks for a short amount of time. I'm pretty sure I paid a cover too, actually. Beer selection wasn't great. Drinks were weak. Crowd was terrible.

Been there a few times and every time I leave with this conclusion: Anywhere that only serves beer in plastic cups is not a bar I'd like to visit, it's meant for college kids.

They always give this shit away. It's because Irish Exit sucks and it isn't worth a free drink.

Also: Expect them to be calling and texting you from now until 3012.

It wasn't bad the last time I went, but it was also a semi-private party with drink specials all night. I'd go for a free drink, but I don't know if I'd stay for the half-price.

And I think they're actually using a legitimate mailing/texting service, so I'm pretty sure if I reply with STOP they'll knock it off.

A lot of bars in that area let you 'win' free drink specials of the sort all the time just to draw in people. And it works.
