we had double suppress + lee sin counter to akali. Malz + my ganks beat him pretty hard in lane. When it came time for 5v5s we mentioned that vlad went full defense and rushed a QSS so suppress akali. We had a lead so we were trying to force baron since we also picked off dan dinh with malz ult. When they came to stop our baron vlad got separated from his team so I went after him which baited voyboy into flash ulting the QSS vlad (facepalm) and our 3 squishies were left without tanks and no suppression. Idk doesn't get much easier than that for an akali.

This is completely counter to what I have seen all tournament. Snowballing is ridiculous in League of Legends. How would nerfing flash, improving tower diving, nerfing passive play, going to make the game better. Games will end within 10 minutes in that situation, and early game champs will quickly be regarded OP. A single mistake in the beginning will count for more than at any other moment.
TSM bottlenecked CLG at dragon, and that was that, one fatal mistake, and snowballed from there. It was GG.
Passive shit like flash and tower hugging helps snowballing by making it almost impossible for a team to lose a lead unless they make horrible mistakes. If aggressive play were better it would be easier to do things to turn the game around instead of being helpless and hoping the enemy team makes a mistake so you can come back.

If you get on a kill streak the gold reward for killing you increases with every consecutive kill. Alternatively, every consecutive death decreases the gold you are worth.
In this way, someone who sucks and goes 0/10 will only be worth about 80 gold, but someone who goes 10/0 will be worth 1000 gold.
It hurts people who do well because they get diminishing returns from their good play, whereas one slip-up will give their opponents a big boost. Feeders are helped because even if they continue to make mistakes, their opponents get further ahead by smaller and smaller increments.

Suiciding to lower your bounty at level one gives the enemy 400g? You only lower your bounty if an enemy player kills you, thus giving them gold, so all it does is reduces snowballing, and you can't really game the system?
Is there something wrong with being an assist beast? It's not like assists don't help the team or something.
I'm not sure I understand your argument here.
From my team's tests, you lower your bounty when you die regardless or not if the enemy kills you.
If you suicide at lvl 1 against a tower, you are worth almost 75 less gold. As a team, we were going to do this in one of our matches but thought they might get mad at us.

They let Cho solo bot and put Sona mid with Ashe which in the end worked out very well for them.Taric then switched to mid too and fell behind pretty hard.He was lvl 8 when the rest was like 15-18 o_O

a) They are the same thing. b) Possible.
c) There were a few things that don't have anything to do with the actual playing of the game that affected our chances at going to DH. TSM had planned to scrim with us a lot, but stopped after a while due to us not being have a constant 5 players on all the time like TSM and EG did, and when we did have 5 on they were scrimming EG whenever we asked. EG told us they were afraid of us as the weekend was nearing which confuses me because we weren't on the free ride side of the bracket anyway.
Also, the whole 5 game EG vs CLG marathon gave CLG probably more practice than they've had in the last 6 months. Our plan during qualis was to use our 2nd string champions to beat OGB and hide things like lee sin, karthus, etc for the 2nd round and hopefully take that round. Bad things happened in the 2nd round vs EG like L0CUST giving away game 1 at bot when he went exhaust/cv sona (the man has the biggest hardon for exhaust) and died until the lane was completely lost. And then the 3rd game messups after taking a lead and then letting akali run free on our carry and L0CUST on support this time went TOO passive and didn't buy items except for wards on soraka since he was afraid of dying. The reason we were running L0CUST and me on support was because our support player, Naryt, is from Argentina and isn't elligible for dreamhack.

I want to agree and disagree with both of these posts... although I've phrased it terribly incorrectly....
Disagree: I'm pretty sure you meet higher-skilled players as your increase your ELO, so it's more fun to meet these people and queue with them more often, compared to the bumbling idiots who seem to be in your game 90% of the time (leavers, feeders, AFKers, noobs, n00bs, etc.).
Agree: shouldn't really care about ELO otherwise than to have the opportunity to play better and meet better players.

having a higher elo is really only useful for testing shit out against people who care about the outcome. I think, in the future, it would be wise for someone like rambo to get a few semi-high Elo accounts to use for tourney prep; anyone who checked his match history or ranked stats prior to the qualifiers would have seen his lee sin coming from a mile away.

Do you agree that aAa are the best team in NA/EU? And that there the team to beat? EG/TSM were saying on regis stream that you guys chocked in the CLG games in that if you left malz mid VS sona and ashe he would have been fine with farm, which would have left ashe underlvld and useless. Do you think they were right that if you would have left taric bottom it would have worked out better?

ashe would have been underleveled but she would have gotten all the last hits.
Levels don't mean much for AD carries that scale much better off of items.
Had we do it over again, we prob would have left taric bot or done a taric/mf lane and swapped our jungler for a tank.

We expected to be top 3. Idk about the final seeding, I assume after the teams made top 3 they didn't care anymore. Our plans after making top 3 were to troll the rest of the games. Also the way seedings affect dreamhack it doesn't really matter what seed you are.

Even though you lost and came in fourth, I really hope you and RS keep playing. There a bunch of people like me who really get a kick out of watching and learning from you all. I'm just a scrub in the 1400s, but I learned a ton from watching you play.
Could you give a fast description of your Lee Sin build? Just like items and skill order maybe.
Also, what is your favorite champ to play and what is your most powerful champ.
You guys had some really great games. Tough about not qualifying, but still good publicity for RS I'd imagine.
What do you think of lanewick? Would you consider trying him with movement speed quints + mastery?
Lanewick seems decent. Sort of like irelia, highly sustainable tanky dps with some cc however I dont think he need ms quint it mastery but defensive things
