On a first date, a guy and I went out to eat pizza. (Well, we went out for burgers but the place was closed.) I promised myself I wasn't going to make a pig of myself and try to impress this suave southern gentleman who was clearly out of my league by being dainty and ladylike. We decided that we were super hungry so we got an XLarge because worst case scenario, we could split it into boxes at the end of the night. False. I ate half of it. (So likely, the same amount of pizza you just ate.) Oooops.

TL;DR: Doesn't matter; had pizza.

[–]Roommatej[S] 64 points65 points ago

TL;DR: Doesn't matter; had pizza.

Best ever.

[–]Penguin_Dreams 30 points31 points ago

A real southern gentleman would think that was hot.

[–]Frogstool 54 points55 points ago*

Oh, he did. A year and a half later, we're still wolfing down food and booze at every chance we get.

edit: It's not like we're regularly eating this unhealthily. We're long distance so it ends up being like one or two times a month that we get to do that together.

[–]chestylaruegal 6 points7 points ago

Even better!

[–]Roommatej[S] 4 points5 points ago

Yay!

[–]SocksAndKittens 4 points5 points ago

I don't know how common this is, but my two best guy friends love it when a girl can keep up with them with food!

[–]catsfive 1 point2 points ago

Yay!

<jumping up and down>

<falls through floor>

[–]21Celcius 10 points11 points ago

If I was ever to fall in love with an American man he would be a suave southern gentlemen and I would wear summer dresses and have daisies in my kitchen year round

[–]flowboy 4 points5 points ago

Hate to break it to you, but I'm a southern woman and most "suave" southern gentlemen are not into women.

[–]21Celcius 2 points3 points ago

A girl can dream though.

[–]flowboy 2 points3 points ago

I'll give you a tip in case you do fall in love with a suave, southern American man. First of all, southern men love sweet tea. Secondly, when making sweet tea for your man, put the sugar in while it's brewing. It's not sweet tea if you add it afterwards. "Sweet tea is the house wine of the south."

[–]smallshry 1 point2 points ago

That's awesome. With my ex-boyfriend I would regularly out eat him in pizza. It's the only thing I can eat insane quantities of.

[–]Cloudycandyx 56 points57 points ago

Oh please, I can eat a pizza and a half if I let myself. I am a pizza eating machine.
That being said, I once ate an entire box of fruit by the foot while my sister was telling me how bad they are for me. Yum.

[–]Roommatej[S] 8 points9 points ago

I think this is the first time I've been home alone and let myself eat the whole pizza. I once ate a whole box of goldfish crackers and then cried a little. I have to self control around cheese and grease :'(

[–]BeerGoggles 13 points14 points ago

... You know those giant, HUGE boxes of goldfish? Like ten times the size of a normal bag/box of Goldfish? ... Yeah, I've eaten one of those in one day. More than once.

[–]Roommatej[S] 6 points7 points ago

..Where might one purchase this huge amount of goldfish?

[–]BeerGoggles 7 points8 points ago

Walmart. :)

[–]ZephyrSong 1 point2 points ago

Yeah.... I can't do them in a day (salt-induced bloat makes me cry), but during field season I can destroy them in two. The whole two pounds are belong to me! Woe unto anyone that tries to take them!

[–]Wonder-Girl 1 point2 points ago

They make HUGE boxes of goldfish?!

Welp, excuse me ladies. I'm heading to the store to buy go- I mean spinach... :)

[–]dontmissthebear 1 point2 points ago

I once ate an entire one of those (flavor blasted) in like, an afternoon. they put crack in cheese powder, I swear to god.

[–]Cloudycandyx 3 points4 points ago

It's okay, neither do I. I just eat and then realize, oh shit, there goes the food. It doesn't help that my sister makes fun of me when I eat too much. It's like seeing someone skinned their knee and pouring lemon juice into it.

[–]Roommatej[S] 6 points7 points ago

I knooooow. I hate when my room mate comes home and says "Who had pizza, you. Ate. The. Whole. Thing?!" or my BF says soemthing like "Are you gonna eat all that?" AUGH YES I ATE IT I HAVE THE STOMACH OF A BEAR.

[–]tomorrowboy 5 points6 points ago

I only ask in case I can eat your leftovers.

[–]Roommatej[S] 2 points3 points ago

Sure.. suuuuuuuuuuure

[–]21Celcius 4 points5 points ago

I hate when my boyfriend says "are you sure you want that?" YES I AM SURE I WANT IT, YES I KNOW ITS TOO MUCH FOOD...

1 hour later and a huge gut ache makes me realise he was correct in questioning my judgement.

[–]ZephyrSong 1 point2 points ago

Then there are those time where you eat the whole plate of fajitas and the setup and half a basket of chips and you're still looking for more. Like last night. He, uh, he was surprised.

[–]hush_hush 0 points1 point ago

Oh god... Fruit by the Foot... so good

[–]Cloudycandyx 0 points1 point ago

They're wonderfully, horribly addictive.

[–]catsfive 0 points1 point ago

I dare each and every girl in this thread to post pictures.

And I'm walking the 5km home from work why, exactly?

[–]Cloudycandyx 0 points1 point ago

Here I am, showing off my cool nails!
I'm usually pretty good, but sometimes I completely lose my self control. It also helps that I'm 18 and it's pretty easy for a teenager to keep the weight off.

[–]catsfive 0 points1 point ago

Whew. Careful there! I was worried. Careful with food! I've seen it OWN quite a few people in my time. I'm 43, I don't have any pix with cool rainbow nails, though. And I was like you--I could eat whatever I wanted but now that I'm my age I have to really watch it, especially drinking, which really puts on pounds. Carry on.

[–]Cloudycandyx 0 points1 point ago

Haha, thanks! I love my nails and plan on keeping them like that for a long time. They're really strong and grow fast so I can just paint them after school and it looks like I have acrylics.
I'm trying now to develop good habits while I'm young enough to make mistakes like eating a bunch of fruit roll ups. I walk my dogs on a regular basis and use my university's gym a few times a week. But, you know, things happen. I'm doing my best.

[–]blackwillow 41 points42 points ago

Every now and then I like to have a spoonful or two of peanut butter. I freakin' love the stuff, even if I have nothing else with it. Well, I had one of those days where absolutely nothing went right. I don't recall anything disastrous happening, but I remember being miserable because karma seemed to be out to get me. That's the perfect time for an innocent indulgence, right?

I accidentally the whole jar.

[–]Roommatej[S] 15 points16 points ago

I actually eat spoonfuls of PB all the time <3

[–]IKnowYouNow 19 points20 points ago

I thought I was alone...

I have come home, my sisters; slay the fat peanut, tonight we feast!

[–]Roommatej[S] 6 points7 points ago

Psssst dip oreos into the PB!

[–]sarahdams 2 points3 points ago

this changes everything.....

[–]EgregiousWeasel 1 point2 points ago

I keep a jar of peanut butter in my desk at work. I do my work and eat it with a spoon when I'm hungry.

[–]JanesAddictionn 1 point2 points ago

You thought you were alone in using a spoon to eat peanut butter?

[–]IKnowYouNow 0 points1 point ago

I thought I was alone in eating peanut butter solo; everytime I tell people, or people see me do it, they always give me this look of shock, which quickly turn to disgust - I am then forced to wear a sign around my neck that says UNCLEAN PIG.

That last part may or may not be a lie, you decide whatever makes you happier.

[–]imahippocampus 3 points4 points ago

It isn't possible for me to only have one or two spoonfuls of Peanut Butter when I do this. I can't have it in the house it's that irresistible.

[–]flowboy 0 points1 point ago

I feel ya! Peanut butter and bacon are not allowed.

[–]originaltrend 2 points3 points ago

Um, please tell me (and other ladies) have had Peanut Butter and Co. Dark Chocolate Dreams. It tastes like Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. Totally weepworthy.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points ago

My best friend has gone through 3 jars of peanut butter in the time it's taken me to go through 3/4 of a jar. He eats peanut butter on everything. Crackers, sandwiches, pizza, spoons...

[–]Wonder-Girl 0 points1 point ago

My boyfriend is the same way. I really like PB but when the jar is empty I know most of it, if not all of it sometimes, was pure him.

[–]RainyMonday 1 point2 points ago

I've done that with Nutella. No shame. (Ok, maybe a little shame. But sooooo delicious.)

[–]TodayIAmGruntled 27 points28 points ago

I ate a 14oz steak by myself last night, plus the baked potato and a huge serving of steamed broccoli. It was a huge amount of food. But beef and broccoli are high in iron, shark week is coming, and I'm borderline anemic.

[–]Roommatej[S] 7 points8 points ago

love me some steak! I donate blood, so the night before I usually go on a steak eating binge!

[–]mofei 3 points4 points ago

I crave steak and spinach every 28 days, I swear.

[–]Alliegator8u 1 point2 points ago

I ate a ton of spinach and broccoli today. Still can't bring myself to enjoy steak. Yes, I know, I'm insane.

But! Delicious broccoli and alfredo pizza.

[–]sleazyjesus 19 points20 points ago

Pizza.

Nutella.

Hummus.

Chips and salsa.

I can't keep that shit in my apartment. No, seriously, it disappears within hours of purchase.

[–]darawr13 1 point2 points ago

I have this issue with fig newtons.

[–][deleted] 13 points14 points ago

I ate a family size box of Cheerios in one day because, fuck, I love Cheerios. <3

[–]anonnewmommy 9 points10 points ago

I feel like that everyday now. I ate a whole jar of pickles the other day. I had to stop myself from eating half of a papa murphys family sized pizza.

[–]RobotHeather 10 points11 points ago

Bought one of those refrigerated rolls of cookie dough once and just peeled back the top and went to town on that thing like it was beef jerky. Probably 10,000 calories but frankly my dear, I did not give a damn. With that said, I'm never doing that again. I have to spend enough time at the gym as it is.

[–]book_babe 9 points10 points ago

The title of this post made me laugh.

And don't feel bad. I totally eat amounts of food that my friends are convinced won't fit in my body. Especially at all-you-can-eat places.

[–]Roommatej[S] 2 points3 points ago

Yes to be fair to myself it was my only meal today but still. When you look down and see the empty pizza box, and no one else around but you, it's a little unsettling.

[–]fetishiste 7 points8 points ago

Oh my god, it was your only food of the day? Hon, you had a calorie deficit of serious proportions going on. Your body needed food. Don't feel bad for giving it food!

[–]Roommatej[S] 2 points3 points ago

ok, maybe no totally true, I had a muffin at 9:30 am.

[–]book_babe 2 points3 points ago

Hehe, the expression had to be excellent though.

O-O "I.. ate it all..."

[–]mallowpuff 9 points10 points ago

I have been wanting to confess this all day!! Today I bought a thing of Edy's Butter Pecan ice cream (The large cylindrical package), and ate three HUGE bowls of it as soon as I got it home. I almost cleared the halfway mark on that thing. Oh God, but it was so good.

[–]ertheer 2 points3 points ago

i bought one of those today thinking it was healthy because it was the "frozen yogurt" kind - nope, at least 5 people's worth of food right there. one sitting. oh well, no point worrying about it now :) i'm a food monster

[–]gnu_face 0 points1 point ago

Yes you are.

[–]diprep 0 points1 point ago

Definitely ate half a package of butter pecan last night. too good

[–]buttlips 6 points7 points ago

A whole Dairy Queen ice cream cake (the round 8-10 servings kind) within a day.

[–]zombiemullet 5 points6 points ago

Pfff noob, you should have followed that up with some garlic toast and brownies. :)

[–]Lyme 5 points6 points ago

I've done that before and I REGRET NOTHING.

And now I desperately want some pizza, dammit.

[–]yegua 2 points3 points ago

I only regret after 3 days of not being able to poop.

[–]fizzynepenthe 6 points7 points ago

I eat a whole pizza occasionally - usually on days I forget to eat until night. No worries, it seems pretty common!

[–][deleted] 5 points6 points ago

Fiance and I went to a pizza place this summer and devoured an entire "family size" pizza... and then went to Culver's for shakes afterwards. Also it was like a zillion and five degrees out so we probably were sweating straight pizza the whole way home.

Also I've eaten almost half of a box of Oreos in a sitting before.

[–]thescribblery 5 points6 points ago

I just want to say, I love you ladies, and I love this thread. <3

[–]suddenlyshoes 5 points6 points ago

I once ate an entire enormous jar of Nutella in one night. It was delicious. No regrets.

[–]aspmaster 10 points11 points ago

COWA-FUCKIN'-BUNGA.

[–]Hime_Takamura 3 points4 points ago

I've done the same thing. just let yourself go sometimes. it's fun.

[–]DarknessWithin 4 points5 points ago*

Was it Digiorno's ? If so, you should get a medal. But really, I can do the same, just depends how hungry I am. When I was younger I was once invited to Pizza Hut (eating with forks? how fancy!) with a few Girl Scout girls and they only ate 1 slice, maybe 2 and started complaining about how full they were. I felt like a massive cow because I was still hungry and could finish half the pie if I were allowed :(

I can eat half a loaf of french bread in a sitting with a few cups of coffee. Oof, so bad.

[–]Roommatej[S] 0 points1 point ago

I have no idea what Digiono's is. It was a store brand mozzarella and pesto, but I added genoa Salami <3 I always feel like a fatass around some of my girlfriends! They eat so little and sometimes I can just pack away so much. Maybe that's why they can still fit into their pants from highschool and I cannot.

[–]DarknessWithin 1 point2 points ago

It's a brand of frozen pizza's that are quite good, and some can weigh up to 2 lbs. Here's a pic of one. Depending on the 'style' some can be heavy enough for my brother to give up after two slices.

[–]Roommatej[S] 0 points1 point ago

Holy cow.

[–]ChikkyD 5 points6 points ago

Tim Tams. Shark week has once made me devour a whole box and I felt disgusting afterwards D:

[–]mofei 2 points3 points ago

You mean those aren't single-serving packages? TIL...

[–]OriDoodle 3 points4 points ago

Ate a whole box of a cheez-its and drank one of those 24oz bottles of mountain dew. In one sitting. You are not alone.

[–]gimpwiz 5 points6 points ago

One time, I was moving out of a place and I had a lot of leftover food so I decided to use all of it to make one pizza. And then eat the pizza.

It was only a 10" pizza. I've eaten more than entire large pizzas by myself before (was a swimmer, was [and still am] male, ate 4000 cal/day for four years). But that pizza, that was a beast I regretted shoving into my face.

Imagine all the food in your fridge for one person -- leftovers, all your opened cans of stuff, your cheeses, and so on -- all on one pizza.

Delicious. But a poor strategic choice.

If it makes you feel any better, though, few things warm my heart as much as having a girl on a date eat a huge meal. (Also a meat eater. It had been a lonely four years before I went on a date with a girl who ate meat.)

[–]Roommatej[S] 4 points5 points ago

My current SO is a vegetation eater, it grosses him out but daaaaaaayum do I love some red meat!

[–]gimpwiz 7 points8 points ago

You should make him watch you eat steak tartare.

When you're done, quietly whisper "You're next."

[–]Roommatej[S] 1 point2 points ago

Mmmmmm rare human steak..

[–]Wombok 6 points7 points ago

Never feel bad about feeding yourself. Food shame is not okay. All these comments where womens partners and friends are asking them "are you SURE you want to eat that?" or "Are you going to eat ALL of that?" are totally invaliding. You're a grown woman. You can feed yourself. You know what you want to eat and what you should eat and as long as you find a happy balance overall everyone else can shut the fuck up.

[–]Lupicia 6 points7 points ago

Don't freak out. If there's anything I've learned from frozen pizza, it's not to feel shame for eating a whole one myself. Um, calorie-wise, it's equivalent to having a milkshake or a large sized ice cream after a meal, but actually much better in terms of nutrients.

That said, don't do it often, but once in a while it's a great thing indeed.

Congrats!

[–]MrsReznor 2 points3 points ago

Calories depend on the type of pizza. Some of those run close to 2000 Calories in the whole thing others are more like 1000. That being said, the occasional pizza pig out is nothing to feel ashamed of. My SO and I generally finish off a large pizza when we get one haha

[–]Roommatej[S] 0 points1 point ago

I don't feel so bad now :')

[–]Lupicia 3 points4 points ago

Oh and back in college I could put away a pint of Ben and Jerry's but I probably couldn't get away with that anymore (heartburn, stomachache, etc). Enjoy while you're young, I suppose!

[–]Roommatej[S] 12 points13 points ago

Now I want Ice cream. WHY can't I ever crave carrot sticks? :'(

[–]mortsdron2 1 point2 points ago

Amen, sister.

o/

[–]msgobstopper 2 points3 points ago

Totally normal! :) I went out for dinner once with my boyfriend's family...they ordered pastas, appetizers and what not...I ordered myself a big nice slab of pork chop! I didn't expect it to be that huge but oh boy was it worth the looks I got ;]

[–]EmbleerFrith 2 points3 points ago

When I was a teenager, on one of my birthdays I ate probably 4 or 5 enchiladas, 3+ pieces of pizza, and approx 6x6 inch piece of birthday cake. Awesome, but almost barfed...haven't eaten that much so quickly since. Your 1 frozen pizza is actually not bad at all!

[–]LilDarlin 2 points3 points ago

I've had so many lately >.< Sometimes it's a whole burrito from chipotle. Sometimes it's a whole pizza from domino's PLUS the whole 8 breadsticks! I've had to start being careful now, because I realize how many times i've done this lately..

[–]Jillianimal 5 points6 points ago

I've only ever eaten a whole chipotle burrito. You're not supposed to? Eh, what do I care? They're effing delicious :)

[–]LilDarlin 5 points6 points ago

You know, I think it might be impossible to get one and -not- eat the whole thing! Oh, and of course the chips and salsa as a little recovery (either during the half burrito break, or as an after burrito cool-down lap).

[–]ZephyrSong 0 points1 point ago

I get the bowls and soooometimes I can only eat half. So bonus Chipotle later! Secret's in extra black beans, corn salsa, and lettuce.

[–]youresayingitwrong 2 points3 points ago

When I was seven I ate a large pizza all by myself, it was my proudest moment. Believe it or not, I wasn't overweight and actually a little skinny and tall for my age.

[–]unintendedchaos 2 points3 points ago

Half a meatloaf. Never again...

[–]parallel_unicorn 2 points3 points ago

Don't feel bad, that's impressive!

[–]fionna_and_cake_ 2 points3 points ago

I AM SO PROUD OF YOU.

I would eat a whole pizza right now if I could. However, it's almost 2 a.m. so I had to settle from late-night chocolate cake and stale doughnuts from Harris Teeter.

...whoohoo!

[–]Katfunk 2 points3 points ago

girl, my skinny ass asian sister in law does that all the time. no worries.

[–]Alliegator8u 2 points3 points ago

I ate a whole pizza tonight too! I made it myself even, with lots of fresh mozzarella and alfredo sauce, plus broccoli. It was delicious, so I don't even feel bad for not sharing with my guy.

[–]nowthisisawkward 2 points3 points ago

a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do. welcome to the club of the hungry hungry caterpillars.

[–]hypnotist_collector 2 points3 points ago

I also ate a whole pizza last night. Was feeling guilty as all hell until I read your perfectly timed post. Life points to EVERYONE! :-)

Also, TL;DR: Doesn't matter; had pizza - damn STRAIGHT!

[–]bunnyfarmer 2 points3 points ago*

Honey BBQ Twists. Ate a large bag in one sitting. No regrets

EDIT: Ate another bag just now at work. Still no regrets

[–]roxnrock 2 points3 points ago

Was it in secret? Because calories don't count in secret.

Or on special occasions.

[–]Symbiontic 2 points3 points ago

On occasion I like to sit down to an extra large pizza, some hot sauce, a few beers, and just eat it all in one sitting.

[–]DeaD_bAU5 2 points3 points ago

I once ate a whole cheese cake of different sampler slices of different kinds of cheese cake.

Self loathing never tasted so delicious.

[–]Margot23 5 points6 points ago

I ate five slices of an extra large pizza last night and waddled into the bathroom to look at my gut in the mirror.

Then I pretended that I was pregnant.

WHO THE FUCK DOES THIS? Apparently 2x.

[–]evontually 1 point2 points ago

Hah! I ate a whole pizza once without even realizing it. I got it for sustenance during a long studying binge... next thing I knew I had only read 10 pages and all the pizza was gone.

I felt bad but was amused at the same time.

[–]megatron1988 1 point2 points ago

I ate a whole box of Mac n cheese today, I feel the same way...

[–]ZephyrSong 1 point2 points ago

Oh man. My vice. I'm not allowed to make Mac and cheese without someone else already in the house. It WILL get eaten. No question.

[–]megatron1988 0 points1 point ago

it's terrible. my bf was out of town for a week a few years back, so I basically ate it for dinner every day.

[–]Roommatej[S] 1 point2 points ago

I do this weekly.

[–]megatron1988 0 points1 point ago

heh, I used to, but I've been trying to cut back and eat healthier. but yesterday there wasn't much in the house that was quick to fix, and I was feeling moody about not being healthy, so the logical thing to do was to gorge myself on my favorite comfort food:-/ funny how I always hate myself after I'm done but I still do it.

[–]misscorsair 1 point2 points ago

Pizza seems to be a common binge inducing food, it is mine as well. I always make my SO order pizza from Dominos because I am addicted to their lava cakes. So in addition to loosing track of slices, I ALWAYS, WITHOUT FAIL stuff my face with melted chocolate goodness. Then I go and hibernate lol.

[–]Requiem89 1 point2 points ago

I quite regularly eat entire treat size bags of Minstrels and then hate myself a little and demand to know what's wrong with me.

[–]duhduhduhduhduh 1 point2 points ago

I think that's totally BOSS. Join the club, I love eating L/XL pizzas in one go. Then again I'm a guy, but hey, a girl who can hold her own in an eating contest with me is good in my book!

[–]liselotta 1 point2 points ago

One time a friend and I made a frozen pizza and ate it. When it was gone we were both like ".... want to make another one?" at the same time. Devoured that one too.

Sometimes I make cookie dough and eat it until I'm full. Then whatever is left is made into cookies, and an hour later (once my stomach has recovered a little bit) I eat all of them.

[–]frakkingtoaster 1 point2 points ago

Last night I ate about half a bag of Hershey's Cookies n' Cream drops. Usually I can control myself.. but oh well. They were delicious. One day won't ruin your life.

My most "oh god why" moment was when I ate two packages of Ramen and then proceeded to eat a spicy chicken sandwich from Wendy's. I don't even know how I did that, I definitely couldn't do it now.

[–]RaspberrySwirl 1 point2 points ago

I have eaten an entire container of chocolate frosting in one sitting. It was a really bad day.

[–]sarahdams 1 point2 points ago

This is why I never have pizza. I simply can't control myself. I'm the worst with blocks of cheese and salami. IT'S DELICIOUS.

[–]Wonder-Girl 1 point2 points ago

Oh my God, this reminds of a couple of months ago when my boyfriend bought a big block of cheddar cheese and a jar of the chunky salsa when we went grocery shopping. He told me he was going to cut pieces of cheese and dip it in the salsa and eat it just like that! I was skeptical but tried it when we got home and my gosh it was the best thing evar!! Chunks of cheese with delicious salsa...I could eat the whole block of cheese if you let me!

I'm craving it now. :(

[–]sarahdams 0 points1 point ago

My SO and I just finished off a giant block of extra sharp cheddar cheese. Now I must go buy more and try it with salsa! That has to be way better than using chips.

[–]Wonder-Girl 0 points1 point ago

Oh my gosh, it definitely is! We had chips AND pieces of cheese to dip in the salsa and both were so delicious!

[–]_silentheartsong 1 point2 points ago

Oh, I regularly eat whole pizzas. It regularly makes me feel bad. You aren't alone there.

[–]KatieBSH 1 point2 points ago

Oh geez. This is making my stomach hurt - celiac, and I have a bad aversion to pizza now. HOWEVER, I have eaten an entire block of cheddar cheese (like the kind you slice up and eat with crackers - except no crackers for me), while watching "Biggest Loser". I think overeating while watching a tv show about people working their butts off to lose weight is kind of sad/funny.

[–]victoryvines 1 point2 points ago

I once realized, as I crawled into bed, that I drank an entire gallon of milk and ate a dozen scones throughout the course of the day. Oops.

[–]KiraOsteo 1 point2 points ago

Indulgences happen!

I don't buy Pringles or Ben & Jerry's any more. Same problem. "I'll just have one...whole container" happens. A whole pizza isn't the end of the world.

[–]exjentric 1 point2 points ago

Ha, this one time, my best friend/roommate and I were on campus for a class we had together. There was a snowstorm going on, and I had wanted to stay home, because our professor had said this class was optional. But my friend had a class in the same room immediately afterwards that wasn't optional, so she convinced me to go to class with her. By the time we get to our class, the university has canceled classes for the rest of the day. When we go to take the bus back home, we find out the buses aren't running, since the university canceled classes. We had to walk home.

It took us 45 minutes to walk home in a white-out blizzard. We kept singing songs from Team America/Disney/Chicago to keep our spirits up. By the time we got home, we went to the convenience store across the street, bought two bags of cheesy potato chips, plopped on the couch, and ten minutes later, we had finished both bags, without even thinking. It was basically the best day ever.

[–]kmb61288 1 point2 points ago

During the first month I was dating my SO, we made about a pound of pasta for the two of us (we were hungry). I split it up onto two plates, and ate my entire half pound. He finished about 1/4 of his and proclaimed he was full. I grabbed the plate and polished his off....

[–]kis4me 1 point2 points ago

Ha ha ha. puny little eater.

I ate 17 freshly caught dungeness crabs in one sitting. The only reason why I stopped was because people were staring at me in wonderment, confusion and disgust.

Definitely in the top 5 best meals of my life.

[–]pipsmagee -1 points0 points ago

You're my hero

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point ago

Just go for a run tomorrow.

[–]Roommatej[S] 3 points4 points ago

yeah.. i'll get right on that

[–][deleted] ago

[deleted]

[–]Roommatej[S] 10 points11 points ago

..run..?

[–][deleted] ago

[deleted]

[–]Roommatej[S] 1 point2 points ago

Oh I've tried it. I tried doing that from your couch to 5k program or whatever- Yeah running for 30 seconds-walk for 30, run for 60. No nooo. Ouch all over. I have to muscle tone of an 88 year old woman. :(

[–][deleted] 7 points8 points ago

Try only walking for the first few weeks. It'll get easier.

It's okay. I hate running, too. Find your fitness and do it - it should be fun and you have to work your way up, else you get so burnt out that you never want to do it again.

I do martial arts and swing dance. It makes me happy. :)

Came back from a friends birthday party with several bags (like big bags) of candy, that she didn't want. Ate it all in one sitting.......sick for days.

My husband and I always say, "If either one of us wasn't as in to food as the other person, would this relationship work?" We notoriously pig out and day dream out about food together. Its a beautiful thing.

If it's a good pizza, you bet I could eat the whole thing.

I'll feel like shit afterwards (semi lactose intolerant), but it's delicious in the moment.

Oh man, I do that from time to time. Too lazy to make real food - go get frozen pizza. Decide I will eat half of it. Then I leave the rest to sit on my stovetop. And slowly, I will consider wrapping the rest up, and instead grab a piece to eat. Two hours later - GONE. I feel horrible and awesome at the same time. Then all I can think about is how I'm sad it's gone and how I really want more pizza. I fucking LOVE pizza.

[–]princessjmb 0 points1 point ago

I do this quite often actually. I just keep shoveling food into my mouth until I eventually look down and realize that it's gone. My most recent endeavor was an entire bowl (like a huge mixing bowl) of chocolate pudding.

This thread makes me feel less alone in the world.

I can eat medium pizzas by myself if I am hungry enough. I can eat a whole bag of goldfish in one sitting within the hour and one time, when I was in high school, I ate 18 slices of that CiCi's Pizza on a dare.

Good times! Lady eaters unite!

I had half a package of Oreo Berry Blast Ice Creams a day for 3 or 4 days. Oof.

[–]pyo 0 points1 point ago

Damn this thread - I'm totally getting a pizza for supper now.

I've done that before...it's so, so, so good but I always feel horrendous afterwards. It's even worse when my roommate catches me; she's a sorority girl, so she's always dieting even though she's skinny already. I'm the not-skinny one, so I always blame it on a shitty day or something.

Last night, I bought 2 things of veggie sushi from Publix (I never see more than one, so when I saw two, I got two!) and I meant to only eat one for dinner last night and save the other one for today. Yeah...it didn't turn out that way. However, my wasabi tolerance has become even better.

[–]onelittleowl 0 points1 point ago

I once ate an entire box of thin mints in about 20 minutes....

[–]MaryOutside 0 points1 point ago

Aw, no girl. No problem eating a whole frozen pizza. That shit is tasty. Don't hate on your appetite.

[–][deleted] -1 points0 points ago

I've been eating whole pizzas since age 12. Don't worry about it.
