Useful targets for Diffusal Blade's purges

Uh, as far as I know, God's strength was changed to be immune to purge a few patches ago. However, Ive included a list of heroes that Diffusal is good against.

Broodmother's Insatiable Hunger is purgable, A huge hit if you can purge it before she BKBs in a teamfight.

Omniknight is probably the hero most countered by purge blade. You can remove his repel and ultimate with a push of a button.

It also one shots Warlock's Golem, quite useful if you get the blade early on.

Dark Seer's Surge is purgeable, if you can time your purge before he runs out of range.

I don't know if Windrunner's Windrun can be purged, the wiki is silent on the matter.

Abbadon isn't ported yet, but Diffusal counters his shield quite handily.

Purge can remove various magical buffs/debuffs, like Slardar's ult, smoke, Repel, etc.

It doesn't work on physical buffs/debuffs like Siren's net, Poison Nova, venom weapons.

Cyclone is a higher tier buff remover because it applies most physical buffs in addition to most magical buffs, with certain exceptions like Omniknight's repel (I think). That's why you often see Invokers cycloning themselves with Eul's after they had been ult'd by Slardar or BH, so they can ghostwalk.

An even higher class of dispel that applies universally? Mirror Image (Manta), Charm (Chen's persuasion and Helm of Dominator removes almost all buffs/debuffs on their target).

The highest class of dispel for those special buffs/debuffs that can't be gotten rid of in any way (e.g. rage, Chemical rage)? Hero death. :P

Mom is purgable which is huge, omni repel is also a big reason it is gotten as it is purgable as opposed to bkb which is not. Also great for purging stuns or hexes off a teamate and terrible if you purge for slow right as your rhasta hexes :(

People often forget to purge buffs like Haste and Double Damage. You can really turn the odds in your favor with good timing in a man contest (when both of you attack each other and no one is sure of the outcome).

It removes Ursa's buffs, very handy, especially playing with Medusa because she has infinite purges, otherwise you would spend all your diffusal's charges because Ursa is always using his buffs.

Purge is really good on Bounty Hunter now beacuse it does't remove your own Track.

You can purge dust off of yourself.
