Youtube and 4chan trolls trying to be hip for their age and new found alternative geek hipster style now that they're a few years older than when they started posting on those wesbites, a time when they'd listen to limp bizkit, now it's all about the arcade fire.

I remember reddit comment threads with much less shit posts up to when people started posting "Hi reddit" and variants on youtube, so I'm pretty sure of my assertion above. Lonely kids posing as trolls seeking attention, approval and validation are what's wrong with reddit. They're all a bunch of bros, I guess.

What's ironic is that the majority of redditors was never composed of hipsters until the first signs of this migration started to show. It just reminds me of all the douchebag yos in my school when I was a kid that in less than a year went through a bunch of phases, polar to each other in the eyes of the outraged "grown-up" posers.

The thing is every year there's a new bunch of 12 year old kids going through phases, which in the internet is attention-whore, troll, lolcats poster, repeat until summer.
